I'm not really "listening" to this song tonight. It is playing in my head. I don't know if it is because of Maggie or because I've been thinking about past lives and how the only thing that really is, is love...

Love Survives.

Now I know you're safe here in my heart

You will always be with me

We'll never be apart

Never knew how strong my love could be

You're the one I've waited for

Now you're home

I believe

The rest of it is here:  http://corongorange.orgfree.com/text/bestof/25.html

I'm thinking that this is gonna be my theme song for a while at least...

I Believe I can Fly - R. Kelly

http://www.azlyrics.com/lyrics/rkelly/ibelieveicanfly.html

I used to think that I could not go on
And life was nothing but an awful song
But now I know the meaning of true love
I'm leaning on the everlasting arms

If I can see it, then I can do it
If I just believe it, there's nothing to it

Spirit is watching Disney's Beauty and the Beast in her room. "Tale as old as time...."

What can I say? I'm a sucker for kids' movies! Especially the fairy tales with happy endings!

This song is running through my head. I really don't NEED to listen to it. OKLAHOMA was the musical that the "advanced" choir (of which I was a member) put on in my senior year in high school and we learned all the songs in it, even the solos. I served as a "prompter" so I had most of the lines memorized too!  Smiley For about five years afterwards, I would find myself with the lines and/or music running though my head.
I don't know why this song is in my head today except that I'm feeling very good and it seems to fit. Especially the chorus.

Oh! What a Beautiful Morning! http://www.lyricsondemand.com/soundtracks/o/oklahomalyrics/ohwhatabeautifulmorni...

At the moment, 'm in the mood for listening to Donovan songs - Goldwatch Blues, Circus of Sour, Try for the Sun, and Universal Soldier.

Funny, satirical stuff...

"Tarzan Boy" by Baltimora followed by "Can't Stop Rockin' " by ZZ Top. To be followed then by "Go, Go POWER RANGERS!"

Yeah, my tastes are diverse....Smiley

I may need the soundtrack to "Conan the Barbarian" before the night's over though....

"Conan the Barbarian" soundtrack. I'm currently loading it into iTunes for eventually downloading into an iPod. There may be suitable music for a sword dance on there too.
Yeah, I'm still thinking about that although right now, I'm just gonna give myself to the music....

Huron 'Beltane' Fire Dance by Loreena McKennitt. I've been listening to it pretty much constantly since I got it yesterday.
It's gonna make a dynamite "warrior dance" piece...

I'm importing CDs onto the computer this afternoon. I'm working on my "Love Songs" playlist right now.

Presently playing: "I Can Wait Forever" by Air Supply/Ghostbusters soundtrack.

And, yeah. I can.
And I did. Six years in fact. "Forever" is NOTHING.

"I want to spend my lifetime loving you." Marc Anthony and Tina Arena/The Mask of Zorro soundtrack.

Gotta love a love song that starts with hoofbeats, the sound of steel being drawn and the crack of a whip.....
