We have the advantage of firepower, as Daemon said. Since the Lord Marshall took the army with him and seems to have lost it, we shouldn�t count those troops.* She spoke without a trace of anger in her voice but the syrupy sweetness of her tone gave her away -- at least to Penthesilea�s ears. The Keyholder knew of Kodiak�s rejection of Satira�s offer of bedgames. To be rejected by a man of Kodiak�s reputation was to a woman like Satira, who believed herself a master of the amatory arts, the gravest of insults. Her continuing attempts to undermine the Keyholder�s faith in her Lord Marshall would have already gotten her dismissed from the Castle were it not for Daemon�s fondness for her.
