They think that I’m invisible
They act like I’m not there
They just keep on walking by
They don’t give a care

No one sees the real me
It’s locked up, deep inside
Lost forever, hidden away
Kept safe from, prying eyes

Even those who think they know me
Have me sussed, without a doubt
Are just looking at my shadow
No one knows me inside out

I wish that these people could truly see
The awful damage they do to me
My mind in pieces covers the floor
I feel so alone, so helpless, so poor

Those base, ignorant fools
Who turned my heart to tatters
It’s no surprise, I seek revenge
I want their heads on platters

not really, but I did send all my poems to my teacher and she's publishing one in my school rag this week hopefully!
most of my poems are based on feelings i've dreged up from the past, but some of them, like this one were inspired by my friends.  when I wrote this I was talking to him on MSN messenger and I could feel his emotions, especially as he'd been beaten up earlier that week.

everyone seems to like this one...it's being published in the MW magazine and my school one.

explain...(so I can try and make more like it...)

neither am I though :p
I occasionally try to write nice happy poems but they lack the emotion i put into these ones.
I felt great satisfaction after writing that one.
