	Why? because you cant have positive if you dont contrast it with negative. Not only that I feel justice needs to be served sometimes. Since I really dont believe in karma I need to make my own sometimes. Face it if you dont ever do anything wrong than what do you have to fear? Except for maybe never learning any life lessons.

	Well, in binary thinking, there can't be light without dark, no 1's without 0's. Personally I see most of existence as lying somewhere within the shades of gray between perfect white and perfect black. For instance, lets take a tattoo. For some, it is a pleasurable physical sensation. For others, it is exquisitely painful. Which is right? Is there a "right" and "wrong" on this one? Nice topic! Black Rose

	No I believe everyone makes their own reality. What is my reality is not nescessarily going to be yours. Whats right for me maybe totally wrong for you. Since its not your reality I dont think you can judge anyone elses reality.

	We need dark magick because not everyone is filled with the milk of human kindness. There are, unfortuately, plenty of people around who will do whatever it takes to get what they want and if magick will get the job done, they will use it no matter who might get hurt. And personally, I've very seldom seen "karma" come around and bite the truly deserving in the butt. So, I'm inclined to help justice along if I can.

	As far as judging someone's reality goes, sure I can, AS IT APPLIES TO ME. Of course I cannot judge things as they apply to you, because I'm not you! Unfortunately, some folks tend to forget that their opinion only applies to themselves, and tend to try to apply their values to others, often without specifying that this is only their opinion and NOT "the whole truth". Often this leads to major misunderstandings, and hurt feelings on both sides, and can overflow into huge conflicts involving a lot of people, who then feel they have to "choose sides" I try to make it clear that my opinion is just that, my point of view, as it applies to me. That way, I usually don't get involved with big, nasty word wars that tear up the sense of community on a board or thread. Sorry, a bit long-winded of me! Black Rose

	Im going to play this angle cause someone is going to. What are you considering negative? As far as my mother sees it my whole path is negative because her religion is the only right one to her. No matter what good ido it doesnt matter I am forever damned. I guess that would make hers negative to me.

	Well, a certain type of individual would choose a completely negative path because all of their overall choices are "negative" or exploitive. Someone with a more balanced view would use either dark or light magick as the situation calls for.
