	PD flicks her knife and gets one in the neck, and lobs a bottle at a third and then as it breaks, chucks her lighter and dives back into the stairwell, pulling sassy and Penth with her, just as flaming bits of transgenics and smoke come flying past

	Sassy is staying closer to them now as they get closer to the vault area. Suddenly she stops and Penth and PD do as well. What is it, little one? Penth asks the cat. Without warning, Sassy suddenly shifts to her full, leopard size. *Sis, we have trouble!*

	They round the corner to see PD's knife sticking in the throat of a transgenetic. Beyond him stood a creature that was only remotely human followed by several men carrying capture gear that was undoubtedly intended from them. Penth had no intention of being captured. She opened fire on the men, dropping them as fast as she could pull the trigger.

	Six shots later, six men are down dead or dying and Penth reflects that might be why their Sire picked her. She was a better shot than him! A seventh man was behind the bulk of the transgenetic freak before them and he snapped out a command and the thing charged them.....

	Penth ejected the empty magazine and slapped another into place as Sassy leaped onto the monster's back, looking to get a grip on the back of its neck. AA flicker of movement caught Penth's eye and she turned to see the beast's handler taking aim on Sassy with a handgun. Without hesitation, she aimed and fired. The headshot was precise and Penth turned back to see Sassy digging in and holding on as the monster tried to shake her off. Not wishing to risk hitting Sassy, Penth aimed for the beast's knee and fired....

	At Penth's command, Sassy leaped free, bounding over the monster's head and landing on the floor behind PD. With cold precision, Penth fired once, twice, three times into the creature's head. And it went down.

	yeah it's fine she picks up her two throwing knives and looks at them these aren't though. she says sheathing them my head still isn't hurting, neither is my hole...hey, where did that some from? she says, showing a rather large cut on her arm. she pokes it these painkillers are reaally good, I can't feel a thing...
