	Penth frowns. *That's bad. Pain tells you when something is wrong.* After ordering Sassy to keep watch, Penth does a quick magickal scan of the sister. *Your ribs are bruised but not broken and you have several severely strained ligaments but nothing incapacitating yet.* Looks around warily. *We'd better move. When those painkillers wear off, you are going to be hurting. And I would prefer that happen after we get home.*

	*I don't want you to have to take another dose either.* She and Sassy join up with PD. *Go small, Sassy. We have to speed things up.* Sassy obeys and jumps into Penth's arms. *Line of sight transport spells work, soooo...* Penth looks down the hallway, casts the spell and they are at the intersection of two hallways. Penth checks the signs, looks at where she wants to go and speaks the spell. Then they are standing just outside the vault room. *Maybe that will confuse them a bit too.*

	Penth walks into the vault and catches the energy blast full in the chest. The impact throws her into the opposite wall where she slumps down, unconscious. Sassy is immediately at her side, leopard sized and snarling.

	PD walks out of the room, shoving a large vial into her pocket. She then does another check of Penth and slings her over her shoulder, trying to get as close to the exit as she can before the horde catches up with her

	Still half conscious, Penth is aware of PD picking her up and of her Sire's accusing voice in her head. He always did know how to make her cry when no one else could. Silently, she begins to cast a healing spell on herself. She feels Sassy's presence in her mind as well, helping her stay focused...

	she locates an empty room and places Penth in a chair, then gets to work rigging the corridor and the room itself with nasty surprises

	Once in the chair, Penth can concentrate better and has better results with her spell. She can't stop remembering her last conversation with their Sire. "PD is my favorite," he had snarled. "You were never anything but a meal and a damned unsatisfying one at that! She is worth a hundred of you. You aren't worth the hemo needed to keep you alive! Get out and don't come back or I'll kill you myself!" The spell works and she stands up. She's still shaky but she's on her feet. What their Sire never realized was that she loves PD too. Sassy bumps against her legs. *Let's go see what she has done, little one.*
