We are north of the Vincennes/Connersville line mentioned in the report -- about half way between the line and Indianapolis. I checked a map to be absolutely sure since Connersville is more east of here than south but Vincennes is WAY south on Indiana's western border. Tell me again how this "Global Warming" thing is supposed to work?

	Joy oh bliss... SIGH If I'm not mistaken, that's the same storm that will be hitting us in Nova Scotia sometime on Sunday. We'll be getting about 8 or so inches out of the mess. (20 cm in Canadian). SO GLAD Hubby is scheduled to work only until 5 on Saturday and is OFF on Sunday...... I'm going to take a wild guess that Skywise is working on Saturday evening too. SIGH Hopefully the roads will be clear enough for him to navigate safely. I know he's a careful driver.... Hopefully he won't come across someone driving like a blasted idiot on his way to or from work those days!

	Yeah, he's working Saturday. He'll be coming home in the storm tonight and going to work in it Saturday. The storm "should" be past us by the time he starts home on Saturday night/Sunday morning and the state highway crews should be out. NOT so sure about the county crews. The county may decide not to really start clearing the roads until after sunrise. The only good thing about coming home around or after midnight is that the morons are, for the most part, off the roads once he gets out of Indianapolis.

	I just checked the radar for Penth's area.... YIKES to be blunt!!! I hope she and her family are safe and warm.... It looks VERY nasty over her way right now!!!

	Meh, don't worry about it. It's normal for us to get what you had, a couple of days later.... One of my FB friends was apologizing for sending the ultra cold weather this way... Not y'all's fault.... It's the way the stupid jet stream and weather patterns go, that's all.

	I just checked the radar again. There's nothing heading this way but the entire east coast from Florida north is getting it with the big blue blob of snow leading the way right into Nova Scotia. Hope it doesn't turn out to be as bad as it looks on radar.

	Knowing my stupid luck, it's probably going to be WORSE than it looks like on the radar! When Hubby gets home, I'll be doing more storm prep... Like dig out the regular phone (cordless ones do NOT work without power!), charging the MP3 player, filling the tub and digging out a few books in case the power goes off. If the power stays on, I have TWO books to read on the computer... Hehehehehehe....

	Just like I'm anxious to hear what you think of the second one on your desktop! I'm glad I finally have a break between my own stuff to read them! I'm sure I'll like them just as much as I liked Homecoming. Sun went down, so did the temp. I'm gonna make Moonie and Penth shiver with this one... It's about -16 Celsius, which is about 3F. Windchill is -22 in Canadian, not sure what that is in American, but I know it's DARN COLD!!!!

	It's there when you're ready for it. Just like Books 2 and 3 waited for when I was ready to dive into them. Tabby gave me an idea on how to get the dough rising better..... Heh. I so feel like moving to Mexico right now, I don't care if I get whapped with a tropical storm or not, this deep freeze is beyond nuts!!!!

	Snow and wind... SIGH It's about -3C or 27F at the moment, it's windy, and the stupid snow is coming down fast. We have at least 3 inches (7.5cm) on top of what we had before, if not more than that. The road is covered and the DOT hasn't gone by our house yet. We're getting up to 10 inches of snow (25 cm) and rain on top of it... About 25mm or so. It's going to be one HECK of a mess by the time it's done. SIGH So far, the power has stayed on but I am NOT counting on this lasting all day.

	This is the best that they have so far. We're going to be moving fast on Saturday so we can STAY HOME on Sunday and Monday although Skywise WILL have to work if he can get out of here which if we have a foot of blowing, drifting snow on top of what we have now, he could end up staying home! http://www.theindychannel.com/weather/today-s-forecast

I'm hoping this will be cleaned up by Monday... http://www.theweathernetwork.com/alerts/high-alert/canada/nova-scotia/halifax At this temp, it's going to be the dry, light stuff, not the heavy and wet stuff we normally get out here on the extreme east coast. It'll be easier to drive in, but visibility will be way down due to it being blown around a lot. SIGH
