	A couple of districts are closing early today but no one has made the decision about delaying/closing the schools tomorrow. They're probably waiting to see how bad it's gonna get.

	Our board does that too sometimes... I will be up at the usual time to check the school board's site, just in case it isn't canceled first thing. Not sure if I'll be going back to bed or not if it is, depends on how early Son wakes up. Hubby works tonight so I'll be letting him sleep in tomorrow morning even if there is no school.

	We are now solidly in the 6 to 10 inches area with the freezing rain well to the south. http://www.theindychannel.com/weather/today-s-forecast The local school boards haven't made up their minds yet. They probably want to see how close to "10 inches" we end up being.

	No snow here yet but that's going to change. Winter parking bans are in effect for the city and Stanfield International Airport already just in case. We're in the 15-25 cm range, which is 6 to 10 inches in American. SIGH

	Morning. It's pretty much stopped here. Skywise just took what we hope will be the final measurement. We got a total of 5 and 7/8ths inches.

	BLERGH. EW. So far nothing from the school and nothing on the board's website. There's less than 2 hours to go for the elementary kids and about 3 for the high school kids. Hard to say what will happen. SIGH

We're on the Atlantic side of Nova Scotia between Halifax and Western Head on this map. 10 cm is about 4 inches, 20 cm is about 8 inches, 30 cm is about a foot and 40 cm is about 16 inches. We're getting less than 10 cm/4 inches of snow but a LOT of ice pellets and freezing rain. I wouldn't be surprised if we lost satellite and power if things go the way the weather people are predicting. SIGH

AND THEY ARE TALKING THUNDERSTORMS ON THURSDAY!!!!!!!!! Will somebody PLEASE get Old Man Winter by the netherparts and explain that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

	The storm is getting closer. It's 63 degrees and I have the back door open at the moment. Not caring for the wind but getting some fresh air in here is worth it. That and being able to hear what's coming....

	The rain is picking up a bit but it isn't heavy. I'm hoping that the worst of the storms will have moved to the north of here by the time the line passes us. It's a pretty narrow stormfront so once the damned thing gets here, it will be over fairly quickly.

	It's 49 in Martinsville and 63 in Morgantown. Those towns are 10 miles apart with Martinsville to the west of Morgantown.
