His announcement before his proposal that it was intended for the �love of his life� and now adorns Penthesilea�s slender neck does not sit well. Kodiak�s affections must be hers and hers alone! She comes up behind him and whispers. �Let�s go down to the hot springs, my love. No one is there now and we can be alone. I would very much like to be alone with you right now.�
