The Darklord was so besotted with his new bride to be that he had turned command of his elite forces over to a man he knew only by reputation! That Coronal�s services had been engaged well before the Darklord had contacted him was something that Coronal felt no need to mention. He spotted the lovely Miranda giving him covert looks over her wine and he made his way to her side. After a few minutes of small talk, Coronal asked about the Castle�s accommodations, hoping for an invitation to the lady�s room but it was Kodiak, wandering back with Jasmine on his arm that answered him.

He had been assured that by the time he returned his quarters would be ready and waiting for him. Other than the completely unexpected attack by an unknown monster, things were going exactly as planned. As soon as he had stowed his gear in his quarters, he intended to seek out the oh so willing Miranda and take full advantage of her charms. He had hoped to find a willing bedmate among the Castle�s wenches but he hadn�t expected to get lucky so soon! And the fact that the woman was in a position to hear everything that went on in the Castle was an unexpected bonus!
