	Dinner's in the oven. Dance practice is done. Really wishing that there was a suitable wall in this place -- with a fairly large open space in front of it -- to put up a couple of full length mirrors. �Then all I would have to do is get a television near it to play my dance DVDs on so I could see what I'm doing! sigh Not gonna happen though. I've done a bit of writing today, not much, mainly figuring out what I want to do and getting things straight in my head before I dive into it. I hate getting almost all the way through writing something and then realizing I've goofed and something all the way back at the beginning has to be changed. It is especially "hateful" when the change affects everything and a ton of rewriting is necessary! So I'm thinking about the logistics of the situation -- where the bulk of the action is going to take place and how Our Hero gets there. But right now, I need to head for the kitchen...

	Morning! The Prince of Midnight is meowing piteously to go outside. It's too cold for him outside even with a human escort. I guess babyboycats get stir crazy too. I'm going to make a very detailed shopping list for Skywise and the girls since I'll be "catsitting" tomorrow and Saturday. I can't stand the thought of the Prince meowing so piteously for the entire time we would be gone. I just can't leave him alone so I'll be staying home and trying not to go stir crazy myself! I've already had breakfast and I have tea so I'm going to go get some "stuff" done. Be back later.

	Skywise was getting ready to leave for work and was wondering where the Prince of Midnight was. We could find SunLord and the Queen but no Prince. The SunLord was sleeping in the lower "box" of the kitty castle but we couldn't find the baby and figured that he'd found a new spot to grab a snooze. He had. He's in the "box" curled up next to SunLord, the both of them looking as sweet as can be. Yes. Moonie took pics and we'll get them downloaded and posted later.

	The Prince of Midnight is now asleep on the floor next to me. smile He's a little sweetie. kitty hugs. I've been doing laundry, one load dried, one load drying and one load washing. I may or may not do more. If I do, it will likely be only one more load. Proceeding on Chapter 6. I've pulled out the old explanation of what is happening and put in the new longer explanation which gives a bit of insight into the workings of the god Mar-Nek. I'm going to "condense" the posts I have to rewrite -- fewer posts but longer and more detailed. I'm coming up with some suitably horrific things to put Our Heroine through -- and that's before she gets raped by the demon..... Better get back to work. This chapter won't write itself...

	Okay, first "encounter' is rewritten. Now I have to get the next one worked out, get Our Hero on the scene and have the big reveal when he discovers that HE is responsible for the dire predicament that Our Heroine is in! And the predicament is pretty damned "dire" by the way! Yeah, in a world where the Gods take notice and step in whenever they feel like it, it is a good idea to watch what you say, especially when you're angry..... or even a bit annoyed! Later.

	Morning! Today is the War Queen's 10th birthday. It's hard to believe that it's been ten years. I'll have to compose a birthday greeting for her later. I need to do one for the SunLord too. His day was on 3/27 but that was the day that the HughesNet people were all over the place, so I think he'll forgive me. Skywise and the girls are in town right now and I'm catsitting. All is quiet at the moment, the Prince of Midnight was tearing around earlier by he's taking a breather right now. Right now, I'm going to pull out Chapter 6 and see how things look this morning. 	Work on Chapter 6 proceeds. I've added a nearly four page scene in which Our Heroine's father learns what's gonna be required to get her out of trouble with the God of Oaths. NOW, I've got to figure out how Our Hero finds out that Our Heroine is a demigoddess and where to put it. That was another thing that happened "off stage" in the original thread and needs to happen 'on stage' in the book. And I have to write the scene where Our Heroine gets eaten alive by a rock troll..

	Still working on Chapter 6 and I've figured out how to keep two key scenes relatively intact, only a little rewriting required. �I had to knock off for a little bit. The Prince of Midnight wanted to snuggle. We did and he promptly feel asleep followed by my tailbone. We relocated to the bed which is a lot more comfortable for that sort of thing than this chair! I think I'm going to do the rewrites in a separate word document. It will make inserting them in their proper places easier. I discovered last night that the first place that I think to put something may turn out to be the wrong place once the piece is written and dragging and dropping over 10 - 15 pages is a pain! This isn't getting anything done and I goofed off enough with the Prince. Back to work for me!

	Workout's done. Snuggled with the War Queen. Washed a bunch of dishes. Created a new monster for Chapter 6, still need a cool name for it. About to start dinner. Dance practice after dinner. All is going good.

	Just finished eating. Dance practice may not get done tonight since it's late and I'm full! I've about figured out where the new pieces I'm writing are going to go and one of them is about half, maybe two-thirds written. I've run dry on it at the moment so I'm working on another tricky bit until it's time for practice. �All in all, I'm pretty pleased with how things are going and once I get into Chapter 7, the major re-writing will be done. Of course, Book 3 is going to need about a third of it re-written but that is not today's problem! [Keep telling yourself that, Penth and don't even think about Book 4!]

	There! After a number of false starts and distractions, Our Hero now knows the true identity of Our Heroine's father. He's taking it rather well, all things considered. Now back to writing gruesomeness.. No dancing for me tonight. I'm still too full! lol That will teach me to overeat but it tasted soooo goood!

	Skywise got home a few minutes ago and I'm seriously sleepy so I'm going to head out. We start Skywise's new work schedule tomorrow, for the foreseeable future, he'll be working Tuesday through Saturday with Sunday and Monday off. This is good 'cause we'll still do our usual "Saturday stuff" on Saturday and still have two full days off. Not too bad, I must say. Anyway, nite all. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Skywise and the girls are off to do errands while SunLord and I catsit His Little Majesty. I can't stand the thought of the little guy crying himself sick while we're gone since the Queen and SunLord would be in the Guest House. Thinking about it, I doubt that he's ever been completely alone in his life. Anyway, I gave Skywise a handful of money and the book store membership cards in case he wanted to get something and sent them off. Now I'm going to see about some tea and a bite to eat while I get the laundry started. Later.

	Skywise and the girls are back. They brought me lunch which I've scarfed down! The Prince of Midnight was SOOOO unhappy when we let the SunLord out (with Moonie to keep watch) that Skywise took him outside for a little bit as it's too chilly for a kitty with babycatfur. Anyway, the Prince zipped up a tree and realized he was too high. He meowed, a pitiful little "I'm in deep " meow. The SunLord was nowhere around when the Prince started crying but by the third "meow", the SunLord came tearing up to the tree to see what was wrong. Skywise got the babyboycat down from the tree and the two of them started playing kittytag. This tells me that SunLord really cares for his baby brother. Even if he does bite on his ears occasionally!

	His Little Bitty Majesty is unhappy. Skywise has left for work and he (the Prince) wants to go outside and climb trees! His fur is too thin! Skywise promised him that he'd take him out tomorrow for some exploring if it's warmer. Like a small child, the Prince of Midnight wants to go NOW and he's making that fact known! Sorry, little guy. It's too chilly out there! (51 degrees with a good breeze.)

	Working on Chapter 6, smoothing out some rough edges, changing verb tenses and adding bits of text that weren't in the original. Still working on the "gruesomeness" and trying not to make it too repetitive but I have to keep in mind that in the course of her long life Our Heroine has been in some pretty hairy situations and it would take something extreme to really "get" to her although I think my new monsters are pretty nerve wracking. I've decided where each piece will go so I can make the adjustments in the follow up posts. Better get back to work. Catch ya later.

	Morning! It's cloudy and rainy here today but the grass is getting green and there are wild violets everywhere. The Prince of Midnight and the SunLord are playing. giggle SunLord has discovered that I've opened the storm windows for the season and he can sit on the window ledge again -- that much closer to the bird feeder! The Prince of Midnight is also becoming an enthusiastic birdwatcher! Need tea and a bite to eat would probably be good too. Later.

	I think I've about gotten my belly dancing "suite" selected. I downloaded two songs last night -- had to stay up until nearly 3 a.m. to do it! grrrr -- and they seem to be working well in the mix. I took out one song I was using and replaced it with one of the new ones and put the other new one in the last "open" spot that I had. �I'm listening to the new arrangement now -- thank the Gods for headphones. Skywise has a cold and is taking a nap! -- and it sounds good so far. �Much listening will be required but so far, it looks very promising and "yes" I've ordered a hard copy of the CD these two songs come from. I don't want my only copies to be in the computer and my iPod! The CD is going out of print so I'm getting in under the wire as far as that is concerned. Once everything is "set" I'm going to burn the suite to a CD too so that will be another place where it will be stored. [I'm dancing in my chair. That's always a good sign!] I've finished working on Chapter 6 and have moved on to Chapter 7. �I'm now officially past the halfway point in Book 2's first draft. I'm making it as detailed as possible so hopefully, the second draft won't take long when I get to it. Which reminds me, I should get to work.... Later!

	It's late and I'm sleepy so I'm heading out. I've made good progress on Chapter 7. My inspiration holds out, I'll get it done this week. The boycats have moved but are still sleeping together, this time in the bottom cube of their kitty castle. They are so sweet. Everyone sleep well and be safe.
