	Ready to head out. I worked on the timeline a bit more and was able to make an adjustment so I can have a bit more "time" where I need it. Our Hero's "refresher course" at the boot camp is going to be a bit shorter than it would be in real life but what can I say? The man's gifted in the arts of war. I also found a "oops!" that I'm fixing as I go through the rest of Book 2. And, having slept all afternoon and evening with a sore little behind (from his shots) the Prince of Midnight is now tearing through the house like he's on speed... Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! Another cool rainy day here. Payday shopping is all done. Thanks to me being under the weather, we were out of everything! I think we're all stocked up now! Skywise is getting ready to leave now and once he's on his way, I'll get Chapter 9 up on the desktop and work on it around various chores. I WILL get caught up! A week from today, we'll be getting ready for two weeks of vacation. No big plans, just relaxing and getting a few big projects done. Later.

	Chapters 9, 10 and 11 are going to be to get into shape! There is so much going on and it's a pain to keep it all straight! sigh I'm going to take a break from it for a bit. My brain is still clogged and it's taking a considerable effort to make sense. Plus it's still chilly/rainy and that's making me want to curl up and sleep.... Later.

	Nearly 90 minutes and 1000 mg of aspirin later.... I still have a toothache. I get a jolt from it every time I take a step. It's gonna be a loooonnnnnggggg weekend. Hopefully, I won't lose my mind before Monday when I can call the dentist and get a prescription for stronger painkillers and have them make an appointment with the dentist who will pull it since my dentist "doesn't do extractions..." � Yep. Long weekend....

	Still have a toothache. I'm hoping that it will be better in the morning and it could be if it was caused by me forgetting and chewing on that side... Hold a good thought for me. Skywise is home and I'm going to head out and try to get some sleep. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. The toothache is better today and I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We got most of what we need to fix the door. I think Skywise will be going back into town to get another part later. He's going to have to take the broken part with him to make sure that he's gets the right replacement. Since the kitchen still needs work, I probably won't go along. My time will be better spent here making headway through the chaos! Speaking of which.... I should be getting busy. Later.

	I just noticed that the van is gone. I have no idea how long it's been gone. I must not have heard Skywise say that he was leaving... Spirit is here, I guess I'd better find out if Moonie went with him.

	The door has tested out satisfactorily so that project is out of the way. I'm having a bit of tooth pain right now but most of the day has been pain free without needing to take anything. Dinner is in the oven and we should be eating in half an hour or so. Moonie's "friend" on deviantArt is getting on my nerves again. That self-centered little brat does NOT want to get on my bad side tonight! grrrrr Later.

	Dinner is done and eaten. I've been going through Chapters 9, 10 and 11. They are going to be s, all three of them! I'm hoping that they will start making sense soon. I think I'm almost over this "whatever" I've had. I've been some sort of "sick" for twelve days now and that is longer than usual for me. Once I'm done with 11, I'm going to go back over 7 and 8 to make sure I didn't make matters worse while I was coming down with this. I'm intending to stay up long enough to download something tonight so I'm going to dig into 9 for a while and see what I can do with it. Later.

	I'm slogging my way through Chapter 9, trying to get it into some sort of order. It was posted "live" and it's a bit tangled up, plus I need to fill in the blank spaces. I think I'll knock off for a bit and have some ice cream. It's still about 45 minutes until I can do that download. It isn't likely to be a lot of megabytes but I don't want it to count against our daily total. hmmmmm.... ice cream...

	Fixing a bite of lunch right now. I still have some congestion but not so much and my toothache is gone. Yay!! Got confirmation that while the guilty might have escaped detection otherwise, karma knows who needs to be hammered and how it needs to be done. It's also a bad idea to brag about your misdeeds. Karma is listening, after all, and I've noticed that as soon as the braggarts start shooting their mouths off, their lives head straight for the toilet. Not being the brightest colors in the box, the cause and effect completely eludes them. Or they think that someone has "hexed" them when, in reality, they are bringing their bad luck on themselves. It will be interesting to see what happens next.

	I'm pretty sure that the piece of music that I downloaded last night isn't going to work. It's okay for a solo piece but it just isn't working with the rest of it and the ending isn't what I'm looking for. Fortunately, I'm only out 99 cents rather than the cost of the whole album. I know how long it should be -- between 3.5 and 4.5 minutes -- and the general "feel" should be majestic and soaring but still "danceable" in the belly dance style with a dramatic but not too abrupt ending. Unfortunately, the 30-second samples you get on amazon are no help at all since a song can totally change over its entire length. sigh I may just have to wait for the universe to drop the right music in my lap 'cause I can't keep getting cds that might have what I need on them. Although the two by Desert Wind that I got yesterday are very good to listen to in their own right. I lucked out there. Ahh.. back to Chapter 9...

	I got cold and tired and took a rather extensive nap. I'm still coughing up crud but not as much so I guess I'm on the mend, finally. I've started dinner and I'm getting a little laundry done. I have a small mountain of it that needs my attention. Hopefully, I'll be able to wash it faster than my family can add to it! Gonna write a little while dinner cooks. Later.

	Well, I've gotten some of the continuity kinks out of Chapter 9. I've still got a long way to go but it's slowly coming along. I've deleted some stuff that no longer fits and I'm going to have to write a LONG piece that introduces five new characters. In the thread, I just used photographs of the actors who were "playing" them in my head. I can't do that with the novel so long descriptive narrative is necessary -- which I'm not doing tonight! I've got a lot to cram into the days left in Book 2. In addition to the previously mentioned five characters, I've got another major character that will be coming in early in Chapter 10 which has a bunch of stuff that needs to be rewritten/revised. Right now, the trash needs to go out.

	staggers into the thread. It's been a busy day so far. Skywise is through covering for this one person (for the moment at least) and he's working the late shift tonight so we started late. We've been to town and back and, yeah, I'm a bit tired. I'll be so glad to get over this crud! I'm going to get some tea and rest a bit. I still have 13 hours to go before bed....

	I'm back. Skywise is on his way to work and I've been playing with Google which is very useful when you need to be reminded of something or to glean new information from the web. You just have to know what and how to ask. I've been gleaning and have discovered some things I'd missed the first time around. I shall need to incorporate them appropriately. No, I'm NOT telling! It's a secret until the book (probably 3) comes out! I shall have to wax eloquently and scheme deviously in order to do justice to it all...

	Dishwasher's running and I'm slowly getting the first part of Chapter 9 in shape. Unless I get inspired, I'm going to leave the new character intros until last. With my head/body still a bit "cruddy" my creative functions are not at their peak so I'm going to concentrate on knitting the posts together into a narrative which doesn't require as much brain power. At least I know what these guys look like...
