	Morning. I've been up for a while and I've taken my meds. Now I'm thinking about something to eat. Right now, I wish I had a cook. I really don't feel like cooking -- still half asleep -- but I need something more substantial than a Pop Tart. Healthier too. So I guess I'll haul myself into the kitchen and cook something. Hopefully without setting the kitchen on fire. Later.

	I hate these meds. Skywise isn't fond of them either. I can't hang onto a thought long enough to complete an action. I'm hoping that will improve now that I've eaten something. I can only hope. 	Back. My head is starting to clear, so naturally, it's almost time for my next dose! I've got some cold chicken and bagged salad so I'm going to have that with the pills. If nothing else, it should cut down on the nasty taste in my mouth that I've been getting about an hour after I take it. I tried to read but after reading the same paragraph three times and not remembering a THING I read, I gave up. I've been dozing pretty much since 2. Spirit has told me what I'm making for dinner and fortunately it's pretty much a "no-brainer" which is good since I'll be cooking while I'm deeply "under the influence". I'm currently doing laundry -- another "no brainer" chore that needs doing. Maybe I'll get something accomplished today. Later.

	It's been nearly 3 hours since I took my pills and I'm still reasonably clearheaded. I took it while I was eating a good sized salad so it would seem that taking them with food mitigates the worst effects. I'll have to get up before I'm due to take the pills in the morning and fix myself some breakfast to have with them. Right now, the War Queen wants my attention. Later.

	Morning! We're waiting for the letter carrier to deliver the girls' checks then it's off to town. Hopefully it won't be too much longer. The War Queen just put the Prince of Midnight to flight again. Here lately, it seems that every time Skywise puts attention on her, she takes that as permission to chase the Prince. She tends to swat him, hard, when she catches him and we would rather she not do that, especially since he is so much smaller than she is. You would think that it would be the SunLord who would be aggressive toward another male but he's all but raised the little guy. We haven't had this problem before and I think we're having it now because the Hearth Queen is gone. If so, perhaps she will get over it as time passes. I hope so.

	We're back and things have settled down. Skywise is on his way to work and I'm starting to get organized. Or as organized as I ever get! Funny thing happened at Wal-Mart. Moonie got carded when she tried to buy fireworks. The clerk told her she'd have to have her parents get them for her. Moonie told her how old she was and pulled out her ID to prove it. giggle The clerk couldn't believe it. Moonie said she thinks she "broke her (meaning the clerk's) brain. Moonie and Spirit do look about ten to twelve years younger than they are. giggle Since Skywise and I look a lot younger than we are, I gotta wonder how old the clerks at Wal-Mart think we are. Well, I'm off to do "stuff". Be back later.

	Listening to "Remember" from the Troy soundtrack. Make hummingbird food. Check Fill and hang hummingbird feeder. Check Make up new pancake syrup recipe. Check Stop what I'm doing multiple times to check on the cause of the odd noises outside. sigh Check. Will now get some fresh tea and check the email and YaHoo since the dishes are soaking and while there is laundry that could be done letting it wait another day won't hurt. Later.

	I don't know what the hell just flew over the house -- something of the aircraft persuasion -- but it was too low and I didn't like the way it was sounding one bit. It went south to judge by the sound and it's gone now. If I hear of a plane crash, I won't be surprised.

	Dishwasher's running and I'm on YaHoo with Nike. Cut about four inches off of Spirit's hair. She's dressed in black and looks like a beatnik. Once her hair's completely dry, I may have to even the cut up a bit. She tends to move her head at inopportune times when I'm cutting her hair..... Later.

	Well, I did my best to be useful but until this damned antibiotic is cleared out of my system, I'm not good for much although I "should" be able to stay awake this afternoon. 	The USB hub I ordered last week has finally arrived, too late for Skywise to hook it up, of course, but I will be able to print things like query letters once he has! 	I've been reading an article about polyamory on the ABCNews website so now I'm thinking about vees and quads and other configurations, not to mention the logistical details involved therein. I wonder if I could get a government grant to do some "hands on" research on the subject...giggle Ah well. Since no "research" is possible tonight, I'm going to head out. 	Yawn! I got up about 2 and a half hours ago and I'm sleepy. Now granted, Skywise and I expended some energy a while ago but not enough for me to require a nap! Methinks however, that I'll be taking one once he's off to work. I'm having a lot of trouble keeping my eyes open. Tomorrow should be better.

	Avatars have been posted. I've been working with some oversized ones and I think I've figured out how to resize them for use as avatars. I'm going to keep experimenting, so bear with me while I fiddle with things. I may pull out some of the real small ones and see if I can enlarge them without losing definition. It will occupy my mind until my head clears and I can actually think again! I do NOT like having my cognitive functions impaired! Later.

	I've found a lot of art that is avatar sized or can be made so. I'll be busy over the weekend as time permits. Superman, Batman, Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Red Sonja and Jean Grey/Phoenix will be added to the lists. I'm working on dinner now. I'm hoping I can stay awake long enough to eat it! Later.
