	I've been excavating in the basement. Had to stop last month due to the "run-up" to my b-day, Spirit's b-day and Thanksgiving. Now that those days are in the rear view mirror, I can get into my "Christmas Chaos" schedule. Anyway, I have found another largish section of the basement floor and realized a need to buy two of the BIGGEST Rubbermaid storage boxes that I can find for my very scattered doll collection and maybe a third for my stable of 1/6 scale horses and their tack. Getting those items corralled should reduce the clutter down there considerably. I'd like to have the "dance studio" part of my "dance/exercise studio" up and running by sometime in January, especially since the "exercise" part has been operational for a while. Skywise just walked by and made a naughty suggestion... Later.

	Skywise left about 3 hours ago now... Just finished my workout. I can tell I goofed off last week. Bad Penth! A bit over 7 hours to go before Skywise gets home. I'm going to get some fresh tea and maybe a small snack -- carbs and protein -- and see what I can do with Chapter 2.... Later.

	Bad as I hate to do it, a certain Original Poster's contribution is gonna have to be rewritten a bit. Things have changed in the story since the original posting. For one thing, the "female" to whom he had been "engaged" is, at this point in the story, lying unconscious underneath the shattered remains of her glass pleasure palace after being slashed to ribbons by flying glass when the place shattered and she also has 3rd degree burns over 95% of her body after being bathed in flaming lamp oil. Good thing she's not human. Oh, and that was after the engagement was broken... So, worrying about what she'll say when she finds out that Our Hero has made another commitment is kinda moot... So I have a delicate edit/rewrite to do.

	Still working on the edit/rewrite. This is going to take a while. I DON'T want to lose the flavor of the original. Nike's gone to bed and I need to start dinner. I need to tie my hair back again before I start cooking. I've been running my hands through it. It feels good and helps get me in the mood for this section I'm writing. Later.

	Skywise is home. relief I'm making headway on this rewrite. Trying to figure out what the character is thinking -- when someone else wrote his dialogue and stage directions -- is a bit of a trial... That's putting it mildly but I think I've explained his mental state. Of course, the abuse of the servant is going to fall before the ULTIMATE CHAINSAW OF DELETE since it's not fitting into the scene. Our Hero is saving his rage for Our Heroine. Now all I have to do is explain why, when next they meet, they fall into bed for an EPIC round of ... ahem..... naughty activities. And it IS gonna be epic. I promise..... Skywise is home so it's time for me to head out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. I've been up for a couple of hours now and I'm just barely coherent. I'm not liking this change in the superlate shift. It was late enough before!! I've put Chapter 2 on the desktop and I'm reminded what a pain in the butt it is when one member of a roleplaying group really has it in for another player (rl) and intends to play it out in the game. NOT COOL. Oh well, that little difficulty will be messily resolved in relatively short order and then I'll never have to deal with it again. Just got to get the story to that point. Gonna need to pull out the big continent map soon and get the location specifics of the city I just created marked down. One new character is created, the others are still in the formative stages but it will be a bit before I really need them. I should fix myself something substantial to eat before I get started writing or I'll likely forget to eat altogether. Later.

	Sustenance has been ingested and I'm settling down to tackle the various problems that Chapter 2 presents. It's not all problems. Parts of it are going to be very.... stimulating.. to write but other parts, not so much. I did manage to find small -- as in a burn time of about 2 hours -- candles in a hard to find color I needed for some "work" I'm going to be doing soon. I can get the rest of the supplies from Isis Books so I should be good to go fairly soon. I've also found a reputable source for another frequently used but hard to find item so I'll be able to get it when I need it without a lot of hassle. I guess things really ARE starting to go my way! About time that the tide has turned... I should get to work. Later.

	Okay, making headway on one somewhat tangled mess of prose. Gonna try to get all the small bits and pieces taken care of before I dive into the above mentioned "epic" encounter which will likely take a while to get right. Right now, I need more tea and I have to remember to run the dishwasher this afternoon.... I want my "Rosie the Robot Maid" and I WANT HER NOW! snark! sigh Later....

	Afternoon! Back from running around. Got a little shopping done but today was mainly "family time" with the girls. A couple of things I ordered arrived today which is good. Holiday cards are starting to arrive too. I'd better get on that next week! Thinking on the way home that I really need to flesh out Our Hero's Older Brother more. I've done a little of that already but I need to do more. I'm going to need him to play a bigger part later on (maybe in Book 3, definitely in Book 4) so the time to start thinking about his character is NOW. He's his brother's equal -- different but equal -- and I have to figure that out. I'll probably generate him in the Hero System (STILL have to get the 6th Edition Rule Book) as that always helps flesh out a character. Enough "writerstuff" though. Gotta be useful in the housewifey way. Dishes are under control, laundry not so much. Better get busy!

	Dinner's cooking and I've pretty much finished work on the "knock down, drag out" fight that opens Chapter 2. The next scene involves some extremely naughty activity starring Our Hero. It's also a good place to dig into his psyche a little. I may write the "digging into the psyche" part before I get into the naughty stuff too far. Decisions. Decisions....

	Skywise is back. He had a good nearly 3 hour hike. He's found the ruins of what sounds like a house or barn back in the woods. Not surprising, this was a large working farm back in the 19th Century. The Guest House is one of the original buildings in the area. And the score of the Colts game is 24/10 Colts. Later.

	Just got back from town. Needed catfood and I picked up some kitty litter too. THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR KITTY LITTER!! Therefore one must NOT run out of it. Got a few other odds and ends too including a couple (more) storage boxes for the basement. I will now go put the bags of catfood away before the SunLord opens them..... Later.
