	Here's the next "What's Happenin" thread. The title was Skywise's suggestion! Memo to "Our Hero": Being immortal is not a curse, not when the lady you're in love with is the immortal daughter of a God. Actually, it simplifies matters enormously. Now all I have to do is rewrite this bit of prose to reflect that. Later!

	Still working on Chapter 2 and "Our Hero's" motivation. I'm pretty sure I'll be able to have it make sense without changing too much. I found a way to keep something I was going to cut and that pleased me. Anyway, Skywise is home and I'm going to take my tired little self to bed. "Getting up time" is going to come WAY too early for me! Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. Been up for a while but it has taken a bit to reach an acceptable level of functioning. Skywise, dear man!, has actually given me a list of books he'd like for Christmas! 	Note to self: Get a REALLY detailed map of Kansas City (Missouri side). This will make it easier to find Nike's neighborhood on the super detailed weather radar maps! Probably should throw in State maps for Missouri and Kansas too....

	Had to take a nap. My eyes were burning so badly I couldn't see. I've been getting the clutter out of the living room so we can move furniture and put the tree up. The boycats rather like having their kittycastle in front of the double windows in the living room where we usually put the tree so we're considering putting it in another spot. It wouldn't be visible through the window but it would be easier to decorate and it would be about 4 - 5 feet from where I'm sitting. We'll have to see.

	Afternoon! Skywise has been on the comp all morning. He's working on a new project which means much downloading -- at night -- and much word processing -- during the day. The subject seems to be the attack on Pearl Harbor. I hope that it's just that 'cause if it isn't, he may be working on this project for a couple of years, given the amount of material that World War II generated. Anyway, the weather is foul, we're catching the edge of the blizzard that went through the Great Lakes and we're having sustained winds of about 40 mph, gusting up into the 55 - 60 mph range. The sound is making me tense! Music in my immediate future! Worse, Skywise is driving to work in it. Double nerves. This about sums it up. Ignore the comments at the end of the story. 	Been listening to music and digging into corners that haven't been investigated in a while. It's amazing what you find.. Gonna stop digging for a while and start on the dishes and laundry. Should see if I can get a handle on the trickier parts of Chapter 2. Here comes another gust.... sigh Will get back to work as soon as I get all the dust out of my nose....

	FINALLY here to make a post! Ran off to Floral Gulch, nearly freezing in the process. Immediately upon getting home, I pulled out my LLBean "Blizzard/Windchill from Hell" coat which I will be wearing when we go out tomorrow! Got an email telling me that my ring has been shipped. I don't know from WHERE it has been shipped, but it's on its way! Yeah, serious jewelry lust here! Some of the pressies I ordered came in the mail today so all I need to do is wrap them. So, aside from some irritation in my right eye, everything is going good! Now, I need to make some tea, catch up on rest of the email and then get started on my "stuff." Later.

	I've been taking a few minutes to play with the weather radar. There is nothing going on at the moment so I zoomed in on the neighborhood where my mother's sister lived until she died 30 years ago. The house is still there and so is the garage.The neighborhood doesn't look much different from the air except that the neighborhood grocery store and drug store that sat on the corner a couple of streets over has been made into something else. I still visit that house in my dreams. �It usually has an extra story and more bedrooms but it's the same house.... sigh Later.

	Finished my workout a while ago and Aphrodite just finished giving "Our Hero" a workout as only She could! Got a bit more to write on this section and I may have to do some research. "Our Hero" has developed one.. discipline I'd guess you'd call it, that is very useful and definitely X-rated but he can do better and that will be the next order of business. I know how Skywise learned, I just need to figure how how Aphrodite is going to impart that knowledge to her willing pupil...... And you are going to have to read the book -- Book 3 specifically! -- to find out what I'm talking about! Later.

	Afternoon. We got everything done this morning that we had to. How, I'm not quite sure. �Skywise left for work an hour ago and I'm just now caught up. I need to do some reading for the above mentioned section of Book 3 I'm writing. It sounds like fantasy but it isn't and I want to get it right. If "Our Hero" was a stud in Books 1 and 2, he's gonna be un..be...lievable in Book 3. � Yeah, I know. I'm awful but I did give "fair warning" about what I was going to do! � Also need to strip my nails. My polish is a chipped mess and I've been out of remover. THAT little problem is solved so I'm shortly to have naked nails. Shortly after that, they'll be black again. Red polish is nice but it looks weird.... Anyway, need to get busy with my research.... � Be back later.

	Afternoon. Skywise has left for work and it's clouding up. On the plus side, FedEx just delivered my new ring! My index finger is a little "fat" today (my ring size varies slightly from day to day) so I'm wearing it on my middle finger right now. In fact, I'm wearing 3 rings on my left hand right now. From index finger to ring finger: rainbow moonstone, my new ring and my beloved black onyx. All I need now is to put my pentacle ring on my right hand and I'd be all set!

	My new ring is on my index finger now and is quite happy. I've been cleaning and moving furniture this afternoon. I think that the tree is going to be in it's traditional spot. The other place just isn't working. I'll have to wait to move the "kitty castle" though. The Prince of Midnight is asleep at the very top and I'm not going to disturb him. NOT wanting to deal with 'kitty revenge' tonight! I'll keep on with the cleaning since it is nowhere near done yet and I'll get things moved around when his little majesty gets up from his nap! The War Queen wants to go outside. Dark. Cold. Rain approaching. Ain't happenin'!! Alternatively, she wants me to lay down on the bed with her. I did that earlier -- crabby shin -- and so there will be no more flopping on the bed until it's time for sleepies! Moonie is gonna put out some fresh 'pouch' food and see if that satisfies Her Majesty. Otherwise, she's gonna be bugging me for hours!

	Working on Chapter 2. Breaking yet ANOTHER love spell on "Our Hero." �Too bad certain people didn't "get" that, in role playing, one does NOT cast "love spells" (or any other kind except healing or resurrection ones) on other players. Especially when said player is perfectly capable of deciding who he wants to be involved with "in game" which has NO DAMNED BEARING on what's going on "out of game!" sigh Thank the Gods I'm almost done with getting this particular mess straightened out. One more "mess" to clean up after this and the last source of migraines will be gone. �

	Afternoon! We went to the Chldren's Museum today, kinda crowded but we had fun. I'm looking forward to the "Barbie" exhibit that will be opening soon. I happened to be walking by the "freight" elevator when a staff member came out with some dolls for the exhibit. Coolness! I also saw a doll in the museum shop that I'm going to get but later. My personal "Fun Fund" is tapped out at the moment! Oh, and this just in.... COLTS DO IT AGAIN! It wasn't particularly pretty and Denver threw in the towel with a bit over 2 minutes to go but I'm of the opinion that you don't turn your nose up at a win!

	We have the tree assembled. That's the good news. A few minutes ago, Skywise informed me that we had VERY LARGE FURRY ornaments on the tree. Both the boycats were climbing up the tree. He got pictures. We've had the base, center support and top assembled for a couple of days and it's been knocked over three times. I've put some weight on one of the base's legs in hopes of making it more "bottom heavy." It's gonna be a couple of days before we decorate it, I do believe...
