	Dinner's done and the trash is taken out. Touched base with Nike and we yakked for a while. I'm thinking I'll surf for a bit then call it a night. I have a full plate for tomorrow and if things go like they usually do, a few dozen things will be added to my plate before I manage to get my tea made! Later!

	sigh The web is inane and boring tonight. Slow news day and still more young females bemoaning their love and/or regular lives. "How will I survive if I leave him?!" much more sigh "How would you have survived if you hadn't met him?" asks I. All these gals are early 20-somethings will no dependents. Tough to get by in this economy but doable if you have only yourself and maybe your pet to worry about. Yeah, I know. I'm not terribly sympathetic tonight. I'm just short of patience with people who KNOW what they should do but keep telling themselves that they can't for whatever reason. Putting off the inevitable doesn't make it easier. It makes it harder. Last words of wisdom for tonight! Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning! The first load of wash is on the bed and the second is in the washer. Yeah. I've been busy this morning. I am just now having my tea. I'm going to be working on myself later so I wanted to get some stuff out of the way this morning before I start that but it is SO good to have my tea! Yeah, I know. Caffeine addict. Sue me. 	Got my stuff done for the most part. Been working on "me" for a while. Just found out that Natalie Portman has been cast in the "Thor" movie coming from Marvel Studios. Still trying to find a "shirtless" shot of the guy playing Thor. "Bulking up" is undoubtedly on the agenda 'cause I don't think that they can do that with CGI! And Thor, need I say, is a HUNK! [Okay, Penth, enough with the drooling already!] Gonna go back and hunt for pics. Later.

	Afternoon!! Yes, we've been busy this morning! We had to get the girls' state issued IDs renewed and we renewed my license at the same time. Because of the state's use of Facial Recognition Software, I had to take my glasses off. As if "official" photos aren't bad enough! [GAG!!!!!!] Skywise is talking about getting us all passports since the states are getting more and more demanding about proof of identity. I told him that before passports are obtained, I'M GOING TO HAVE SOME DECENT PICTURES TAKEN!! Of all of us! I think he believed me.... Anyway, I'm good with the driver's license until 2015. Thank the Immortal Gods. After all that, I need tea! Later.

	Well I'm back, having survived the "Ordeal by Dental Hygienist" with minimal damage. I go back in a couple of weeks or thereabouts so she can knock off anything she might have missed but she's fairly sure she won't have to use the jackhammer then. We've already had lunch so I'm going to sit here while the feeling comes back. Ice cream will probably make an appearance at some point. The hygienist agreed that it was probably as soothing a warm salt water rinse and definitely tastes better! Later.

	The "numbing gel" has worn off and my mouth is feeling rather abused. Ice cream, followed by Extra Strength Tylenol has been consumed and I'm waiting for the painkillers to kick in. I took a nap since I didn't sleep well last night -- didn't "cut off" the caffeine soon enough! -- and I was really tired after Skywise left. I will attempt to be useful once my mouth stops aching. I've learned my lesson. Teeth cleaned every six months and I've already made an appointment for Moonie since it's been a while since she's been in the chair. Skywise and Spirit are already "in the groove". I figure with 12 months in the year and only 4 of us, we should be able to space the appointments out. I babble... Later.

	The tylenol has helped but not a lot. I've been working on my dance glossary, trying to break some of the more complex moves down into words. I'm gonna be hearing the instructor's voice in my dreams tonight! It would be nice -- not to mention easier! -- if belly dance had a standardized movement vocabulary but it doesn't. Some of the basic moves have only one name/term to describe them but most have more than one. There are even ballet terms that have been borrowed to describe movements/positions. That's because a lot of belly dancers had ballet training at one time or another. So, I'm going through all my references and boiling them down to one reference that I can refer to when I'm writing and/or designing a dance. As I previously mentioned, doing the moves is frequently easier than describing the moves! Now, having spent a couple of hours immersed in belly dance dvds, I need to do something useful of a housewifey nature -- bad as I hate to! Later.

	Girls are fed and my dinner should be ready soon. [Thank the Gods for George Foreman grills and microwaves!] Listening to my belly dance suite right now. Since I've burned it to a cd, I decided to make inserts for the front and back of the case. The text and layout are done, now all I have to do is the artwork. That will likely take a while but I've got a "prototype" in the case now and it looks pretty good if not especially colorful. Ah.. timer's about to "ding!" Time to see if my chicken is done. Later. 	I've been working on my belly dance glossary, digging through 5 dvds and three books and puzzling out what is what. Once I'm done with the current pile of reference I have another set of three dvds to go through on the off chance that there might be something on one of them that isn't on any of the others although that doesn't seem likely. While there may be a multitude of names for the movements, the number of movements that comprise "classical' bellydance is pretty well settled with well documented variations. I've created a few poses and gestures for my own use and put them on my list but other than that, I'm pretty much sticking to "classic" bellydance moves and once the list is done, I'll have all the written reference in ONE PLACE! Which will be a mercy let me tell you! I'm hoping to get this done in the next few days and will, if my eyes hold out. Right now, I gotta get Skywise's food packed and get him on his way. Later.

	The dough is rising. The belly dance glossary is coming along and I need a curse. For Book 2 of course! I remember part of one from an issue of ElfQuest [Kings of the Broken Wheel storyline, I think.] but I can't remember all of it. It starts out: "You are meat to be wasted! Your blood falls on rock (or stone. Can't remember.) and nourishes nothing!" And that's all I can recall. The issue containing it is somewhere around here which is like saying that it is on the North American continent! It would be perfect for what I have in mind and I have a friend in the comics business who has met the Pini's on several occasions. So I'm thinking that I could probably get permission to use it. IF I can find the darn thing and IF Wendy Pini is the one who wrote it. Otherwise I'm going to have to write my own. Gee, how am I going to get into the proper frame of mind to write a soul shriveling curse..... Oh.... �Nevermind. Later.

	Afternoon! The "running around" part of the day is done although poor Skywise still has a full shift ahead of him. I'll be glad when it's time for him to retire. Now I need to read the instructions and figure out how to hook up the speakers I got for the computer. If I'm going to play music on it while I'm working, I want decent speakers! Later.
