	Just got back... Yes, Skywise decided that we were going on an expedition. So now it's after four in the afternoon and I have gotten nothing on my list done! Grrrr..... Also, after High Level Consultations, the back yard is OUT as a location for the kitty yard. Working around the septic system isn't practical. The second best spot, off of the east end of the house, is where the water line, gas line, electric line and phone line all come into the house. I think that's going to be out too. That leaves the north side -- which is the front of the house -- and the west side which is a maze of tree roots.... � Later.....

	Skywise and I have been chewing over the "kitty yard" problem. No solutions yet but we WILL have one when it comes time to build the thing in the spring! Right now, we're trying to figure out how to do the wall foundation in such a way that it doesn't interfere with whatever happens to be underground in that particular spot! We want to make it as large as possible since the larger it is, the more likely the catpersons are to take to it although I don't know if the War Queen ever will. Need to see if that dratted chicken is thawed enough to cook yet.... Later.

	The nearest weather reporting station reports the current temp as 38 degrees. Tell me again how this "global warming" thing is supposed to work.... The trash is out and I'm heading out myself. 	Afternoon! Skywise let everyone sleep in this morning. I think he wanted some 'quiet time' on the computers! hehehehe! The sun is FINALLY indisputably out but it's chilly, 49 degrees at the nearest reporting station and it's probably a bit colder out here in the woods. STILL brainstorming on the kitty yard problem. We're agreed that it has to be done, it's the particulars that are giving us trouble! Right now, I'm working on thinking of ways to "set" the upright posts without disrupting our septic system. Might have thought of a way, have to think about it some more. Meantime, laundry and tea! Later!

	One load of clean laundry on the bed, One in the dryer and One in the washer. The mountain of laundry has been considerably reduced and I'll probably do another load or two later today.

	Skywise is running the lawn mower over the backyard and I've made a quick sketch of the "grid" for the kitty yard. Need to do some measuring so I can place the back door and the basement window in the sketch. It would be kind of difficult to sink a post right in front of the back door....

	Skywise is off to work. STILL brainstorming the whole "kitty yard" thing. I wish we had a big screened in porch. THAT would be perfect. Also on my mind: It is a REALLY bad idea to have your scheme for money/fame/media attention hinge on the ability of a 6 year old to know when to lie convincingly. 	We're back and all vaccinated for the "seasonal" flu. The H1N1 vaccine isn't in yet. Or at least, not enough of it is in yet. I'll be keeping my ear to the ground about that and we'll get that vaccine when it's available. Right now, I'm gonna get myself sorted and caught up. Skywise doesn't leave until 3 today so the schedule is a bit "off." Later.

	Dinner's cooking, almost done, in fact. Didn't get a lot accomplished today but I long ago learned that some days are more productive than others. Still brainstorming about the kitty yard. It has to be secure, interesting and spacious. Otherwise, the kittypersons won't want to be in there. They're going to be POed enough as it is until they get used to the new way of doing things around here. sigh Anyway, I'm trying to design something that will fit those requirements and still be able to be easily (or relatively easily) disassembled if we should need to do that. I don't see that happening but "never say 'never'!" That much, life has taught me. Two minutes to dinner. Better scat!

	Sustenance has been consumed and I'm feeling relatively human. Nike is not yet on YaHoo and she was supposed to get off from work two hours ago. Methinks something is up. Nothing too bad, I hope. Skywise won't be home for another hour and a half. sigh Need to keep myself occupied in a way that doesn't involve sweet, sticky stuff.....

	The Prince of Midnight is doing "wind sprints." The SunLord is hiding in a paper grocery bag waiting for him to run past. Now, they've turned over the empty laundry hamper.. Now the Prince is in the bag and SunLord is sprinting. NOW they are both sprinting and they sound like a herd of elephants... small, furry elephants but STILL elephants....

	Skywise and Moonie took the cats out for a good long hike and are now back. I've put the headstones out just past the halfway point down the driveway. I've also been making "ghosts." I've got the head forms ready with the wires inserted. All I need is more muslin. We'll get that tomorrow. Hopefully I can get the rest of them up before it starts raining too much. We didn't do any decorating last year, we didn't have the heart for it but we're trying to do better this year. �Next year, we're going to have the kitty yard to decorate. Need to think about that, it certainly presents possibilities.....

	Dinner is over. Skywise won't be home for another hour and a half. RATS!! Found a "vintage" pattern I was looking for. It's one I already have but I need it in a larger size. With a tiny bit of alternation, it will make a perfect cover up to go over or with my belly dance costume.
