	Just had a guy at the door wanting permission to bowhunt. I told him "no." With Skywise and the girls out in the woods as much as they are, I wouldn't feel that they would be safe. Besides, he said he was a neighbor. He can hunt on his own land.....

	Laid down for a while. It helped a little but I had nightmares. Go figure. STILL waiting on UPS to get here with the delivery that is scheduled for today. I keep checking on the package. It's "in transit" still. They have until 7 to get it here....

	What do you know? The guy just showed up. I can now stop waiting on him and get some of the "can't stop once you start" stuff I've been putting off all day! Also. There is definitely PIE in our future...

	Dinner's in the oven. The chicken should still be fit to eat by the time Skywise gets home at 3 a.m. Haven't made the pie yet. I'll do that tomorrow after we get back from Floral Gulch. Right now, I'm going to relax, listen to some music and wait for dinner to be done.

	I'm trying to figure out if the War Queen is chasing the boycats cause she's playing with them or if she's "serious." There's no hissing, spitting or yowling and her body language doesn't seem aggressive. The Prince isn't too sure about things yet....

	Made out the checks for the property taxes today. Oh happy day! Skywise took them into work to mail them. He'll "hand cancel" them and put them in the right bin for the county seat. They'll arrive tomorrow, well ahead of the deadline of the 10th so there is one thing off of my mind. I am here. My tea is in the kitchen. Need to do something about that...

	Got a nap and feel a bit more human. I'm about ready to do violence in order to get a night's sleep instead of a long nap. Our across the road neighbors are likely biting railroad spikes in two tonight. What we heard this morning was a "so called" tree trimmer butchering the stand of pines they have bordering their yard. These yahoos were undoubtedly hired by the county (lowest bid) to "clear" the right of way along the road. They chewed up one side of a cedar tree in the Guest House's front yard yesterday. Gods forbid that there be ANY possibility that the county would be sued. Damned Weeks like these make me wish that we lived in the middle of nowhere! Going to do my workout and watch Smallville. Maybe that will improve my disposition.

	Definitely going to have to buy this season of Smallville when it comes out next fall. Reception kept cutting out tonight. That happens if you have to use an antenna and we have to since satellite is too expensive and cable isn't available -- something that the that decided that HD transmission should be mandatory neglected to mention. Once Smallville goes off the air, I won't be watching anything on a regular basis. It's just too hard to get good reception.

	Evening. It was a busy morning into the afternoon. We didn't find a suitable turkey -- a disaster a few years ago caused us to swear off the cheaper brands of bird -- so the hunt will continue. We have some time and I can put that baby to soak while it's still frozen as long as I can get that darn gravy packet OUT of the body cavity! After we got home, I stretched out "for just a minute" and woke up two hours later. sigh I guess I needed it though or I wouldn't have conked out like that. Right now, I'm waiting for dinner to thaw so I can get on with that. Gonna wash a few dishes in the meantime. Later.

	Dinner is on. Giving some thought as to who bites it in Book 3 and how. I "thinned the herd" pretty good in Book 2 but there are still a few characters in the story that need to go but in such as way as to improve the story. I have a "set" list of who's gonna go. I just have to decide if they meet their end in Book 3 or in Book 4 which will probably dictate the "how" of it. The needs of the story will dictate the "when" of it. cracks knuckles I do SO love plotting [probably] bloody death.
