	Went out and did some quick and dirty staking of the kitty yard. Used stakes, string and empty kitty litter buckets to mark the area. It's only temporary to give us an idea of the area we're considering. I'd like to make it a lot bigger but that might not be practical right now. So, I gotta figure out/plan for future expansion.

	Skywise and I have been discussing the kitty yard. It looks like we're going to go with a 25 x 32 foot space initially. We can always expand later. I've already planned to put in a second catnip bed with a statue of Bast in her "full cat" form -- if we can find an outdoor one -- as a centerpiece. I want to put in some sort of bush that will grow big enough and sturdy enough to provide cover and climbing opportunities and a big piece of tree for them to sharpen their claws on when they aren't lounging on it! Bugs and small prey creatures (mouse sized) will be able to get in to provide hunting practice and exercise. We're also going to add some above the ground walkways for them to prowl and lounge on. And I still want to put in some sort of fountain arrangement with minnows for the boycats!

	Goofed off a bit while I did the laundry. I watched an instructional DVD I got a while back instead of doing something "useful." Now, I gotta be useful. Oh well, taking a break once in a while is good.

	MUCH POed with myself. While proofing Book 2, I discovered that all the pages after page 95 are misnumbered which means that once I've finished finding the other typos, I'm going to have to reprint the lion's share of the manuscript. Good thing that Friday's payday. Gonna need more ink cartridges and paper...

	My mood is somewhat improved. Thanks to some judicious editing I will only have to renumber and reprint one chapter rather than most of Book 2. I am nearly cross-eyed from said editing and behind in my chores but I've got it fixed. Now to see if I can get caught up...

	Didn't get caught up. Had to ditch the workout which I hate but it was that or dinner being late and that wasn't an option. Better luck tomorrow. The bed is covered with clean clothes with the War Queen more than likely asleep in the middle of it all. Time to go wrestle them away from her and get them put away. 	Skywise is getting ready to leave. Poo! My b-day cake as been cut but I haven't had a piece yet. I'll attend to that after Skywise has hit the road. More proofing and the last of the laundry today. Hopefully, there aren't any more massive mistakes in Book 2! Once I have it proofed, I'll be able to tackle Book 3 without the nagging feeling that I should be working on 2! Trying to connect with an old friend on Facebook. I'm pretty sure I have the kinks out of my account now. It will be good to get caught up. I met her the same way that I met Nike, through a letter I wrote to StarLog.... Later.

	Proofed all of chapter 5 and about half of chapter 6 before my eyes gave out. Got some laundry and other things done. Working on some dinner now. The ground beef decided not to thaw so I'm now on Plan B. Thank the Gods for "Plan B."

	Afternoon. The great "TurkeyQuest" was successful! Our prize is currently sitting in the Guest House refrigerator thawing. I aim to get that puppy in the soak over the weekend and before I can do that, it has to be thawed enough to get the gravy packet out! Then I'll put the turkey in the soak and set the whole shooting match in the Guest House refrigerator. Skywise will have to take all the shelves out so that the bucket will fit but that's a minor detail. Now I need to inventory my supplies and see what I need to get for dinner on Thanksgiving and for Spirit's birthday which is the same week..... Later.

	Looking over "Chapter 1" of Book 3 and I almost have the first half of it -- which will be the final Chapter 1 -- whipped into shape. The second half will be Chapter 2. I don't know yet how many chapters 3 will have. I have it broken up into 10 "chapter sized" chunks right now and I know that it is likely to expand from there. I'll just have to see how it goes.
