	Afternoon. Back from payday madness. For the first time since the end of his vacation, Skywise didn't have a Thursday late shift/Friday early shift combo this week so we actually got to bed at a reasonable hour and were able to get enough sleep! So yeah, so far Friday the 13th is doing pretty good. �Plus I got the book I've been wanting.... Later.

	Need to get my nose out of the above mentioned book and get to doing something useful! Gotta start house cleaning for the holidays as furniture will need to be moved in order to put up the Yule tree which Spirit will want to do on Thanksgiving.... Spirit is the "Official Keeper of Holidays and Celebrations" in the family. Guess I'd better get with it! Later.

	Skywise took me into Best Buys while we were in Greenwood. He wanted to show me the new Mac [it's HUGE and gorgeous!], the new wireless mouse and keyboard design [I'm going to really miss the separate keypad]. �Then we looked at the laptops. I said that the 13 inch MacBook was big enough but Skywise disagreed and said I'd have to have the 17 inch MacBook Pro. He knows how I intend to use it once I have it [keeping in touch with the Hall and writing while I'm on the road] and that a 17" screen will be better for that since it isn't unknown for me to have two or more separate word docs open on the desktop at the same time. �So I'm going to be looking at laptop cases that will accommodate a 17" laptop while we figure out where the 2.5k to pay for it is gonna come from.....

	Well, I haven't found any laptop cases that appeal to me -- they look too much like boring "businessman" bags and that SO is NOT me! But I did find a site that has "my" ring for over $20 less than I was planning on paying. It's the same ring so yeah, I'm probably going to be ordering it around Thanksgiving which means I should have it by mid-December. Just in time for Yule! Dinner is in the oven finally, get to chill for a while until it's time to fix the rest of the meal. Later.

	Finally got the pancake syrup made. There are definitely pancakes in my future! Going through the pantry to see what extras I'm going to need for the next two weeks. Going to be cleaning out the freezer today too since the trash will be picked up tomorrow. Better dig out the "turkey soak" recipe, need to get that going today too.
