	Good morning, or at least it is so far. We have it's cloudy and snowing right now. It's just a blob a couple of counties wide, not the major storm that's on the way. It's currently 11 degrees. Everyone else is still asleep so I'm sitting here with the computer on and the lights off. Kinda spooky. Later.

	Chapter 2 IS DONE! There is probably some tweaking and polishing and undoubtedly proofing to be done but I'm NOT going to tackle that until the rest of the book is finished! I have the subplot and Chapter 3 on the desktop now but before I do anything else, I think I'd better eat. I seem to be hungry....

	I ate, did some dishes and then, because my feet were cold, I went an stuck them in the bed to get them warm. I woke up an hour and a half later with the War Queen laying on me, purring. I must have needed the nap! So I hurried and got done what I'd decided to do outside before it got dark. I've done a few more dishes -- and will do a few more -- and start working on Chapter 3. Since I want to start Chapter 4 at a particular point, Chapter 3 is going to be a lot of new material. I may work on the two chapters at the same time for a while...

	I indulged in a little ice cream. My throat is feeling a little scratchy. Just enough that I'm aware of if. snark! I really don't need this now. No time is a good time to be sick but some times are better than others. A major storm is coming in tonight and Friday is payday and I'll HAVE to head into town for the shopping. Providing, of course, that we can even get out of here on Friday morning!

	Medical update: In addition to my scratchy throat, I now have the beginnings of a fever and the unmistakable [to me] feeling in my chest that tells me I'm developing a case of bronchitis. Oh happy day...

	I think that the fever's backed off a little but I can feel the air moving in and out of my lungs. Joy. Joy. Not coughing too much yet. I'm thinking I'm going to be spending more time in bed reading and researching the next few days than I'll be sitting in front of the compute actually writing.

	Morning. I'm sick but not as sick as I could be. Skywise and Spirit went to Floral Gulch. He'd promised her before he'd seen the weather report and we only have about 2 -3 inches of snow right now. They'll go, she'll be happy and therefore, her parents and sister will be happy! I, obviously, stayed home. Moonie didn't want to go either so Spirit has her daddy all to herself! I'm going to see if I can find a little something to eat to go with my tea. Later.

	I hadn't any more than laid down when Skywise and Spirit got home. I was almost finished eating the lunch they brought home when I realized that Skywise has the early shift today and that he would be leaving immediately. I managed to get everything ready while he showered. Since I have some numbers to crunch, I think I'll sit here for a while and do that. I've also got a handle, I think, on the criminal gang that Our Heroine's Little Brother is tracking. If they work out, I'll make them "major players". Every "paradise" needs a few snakes....

	Working a little on Chapter 3. I need to restructure what I wrote so it "goes with" what eventually ended up happening. That's going to require some thought which I'm not very good at presently. I feel "blah." Understandable but damned inconvenient!

	I'm managing to get a little work done. "Showing" instead of "telling" about a ballroom scene. I really need to do some character development on the current "pain in the butt". He's smooth. He's charming. He's a murderous sleaze.... Don't know if I'm up to that in my current condition but I can at least lay down the bones of it. I'm not going to kill him off in Book 3 but Book 4 or 5, yeah, it's a possibility. Having killed off a number of scheming wenches, I need some REAL villains to take their places..... Must think....

	Afternoon. We've been back from town for a while but I had to crash. Shopping wore me out, even with lunch thrown in there. I'll laid down as soon as we got home but I'm still wiped out. I'll probably got back to bed as soon as Skywise leaves and things are secured around here. Right now, I'm even too tired to read and that's bad. I'll be back when I can.
