	I'm getting seriously nudged to work on the psychic abilities that a lot of people are saying that I have. Maybe all the "nudging" is a sign that the time is finally right for that to happen. The Gods know that knowing what kind of dung-eating bottom feeders were worming their slimy way into my confidences about four and a half years ago would have been VERY beneficial! That probably wouldn't have kept them from doing what they did but it would have made it harder. I should see what my personal library has on the subject of "psychic development..."

	I finally got something to eat around 2. I'm still not feeling very perky but at least I don't feel like my blood sugar is bottoming out! Skywise has the early shift today so I'll be able to go to bed relatively early tonight. Just hope I've used up my quota of nightmares for the month.

	I'm going to be seriously rewriting the Olympian Family tree for "my" world. I'm not sure of the particulars at the moment but I will be eliminating the brother/sister marriages/affairs, the uncles marrying or impregnating nieces and the whole "gods disguised as animals impregnating mortal women" thing. Besides making the Olympian Family tree look more like a shrub, there is the whole "eewww" factor to consider. So that's going to be my next "small" project: who is related to who and how plus some sort of "Origin story" for the Olympians in my novels. AND which Gods are included and which aren't. I don't make it easy on myself, do I?

	I've made a little headway in "rewriting" the Olympians' family tree. Most of it probably won't make it into the novels but as complicated as that pantheon is, having a way for ME to keep it straight is gonna be a necessity! Zeus won't be "quite" the tomcat he is in the old stories and Hera won't be a jealous bitch all the time which fits in with the sexual ethics I've laid out for this world. I've made Ares, Athena and Hephaestus triplets and Kore and Peresphone twins instead of a single goddess with two aspects/names. I'm still working on the others and the idea of Ares and Aphrodite meeting as wild teenagers is almost too delicious to pass up....

	The insurance guy got here early and he's gone and everything is taken care of. NOW we get to think about trusts and such. We have until we're sixty to change the terms of our life insurance policies so they will pay into a trust. There are also tax considerations to take into account. We're gonna be doing the 'financial thing' for the next couple of years. We don't want to leave Nike and the girls with a mess to sort out. We're heading out to Floral Gulch for lunch and some shopping. Later.

	We're back and I've been catching up. We've had a nice big storm cell sitting on top of the county for about an hour or so. It isn't moving out very fast but it IS getting weaker. Thank Zeus! I'm gonna go get some tea and attempt to relax. It's been a busy day already and it's barely underway.

	The rain finally stopped but we got a good soaking out of it. I wrote part of the handfasting ritual between Our Hero and his Lady today. It came to me while we were on the way home and I didn't want to forget it so I polished it a little and put it in the last chapter where I had to cut out the original version of the handfasting. MINE will be better!

	Went poking around on the Fire Mountain Gems website and I now know what Our Heroine's handfasting bracelet looks like. NOW I have to figure out what she gives her beloved to signify their union.... It will be a bracelet, of course, but it needs to be relentlessly masculine given the man who will be wearing it.

	Afternoon. I've been doing "wife" type work since I got up. Got a load of wash almost ready to go into the dryer, then I'll get another one going. Got some ideas for Our Hero's "bachelor party" to occur after he gets back from the "men only" pre-handfasting retreat I sent him on and I'm gonna jot them down. It will give me the chance to use some material that I have laying around that I was wondering how to use. � �I'm thinking of ditching the whole "happy couple can't be together before the handfasting ceremony" . �That WASN'T my idea and it really doesn't "fit" my world. Single gender retreats, yeah: Men's mysteries. Women's mysteries. Guy time. Gal time. THAT I can go with. A cultural requirement that couples coming to handfast be celibate for a couple of weeks, more or less, beforehand? Nope! Nada! NOT happening! I mean, what if a couple decides to elope? Yeah. That was my thought. Sooo.. there will be some changes and some additions to the "handfasting' part of Book 3. But right now, the laundry calls.... Later.

	The fourth and last load of wash for the day is in the dryer, thank the Gods! I've been cleaning in the basement too and writing. I REALLY wish -- and not for the first time! -- that I would split into three identical bodies so I could actually get everything (or almost everything!) done in a day that NEEDS to be done in a day! Oh well....

	I hear an owl. It must be close for me to hear it with the doors and windows closed. Skywise saw one in a tree on the west side of the house on Sunday night. It was dark but it was the size and shape of a screech owl. Wonder if someone is trying to tell me something....

	Everything is done in Chapter 5 except the Amazon Cage Fight and the events leading up to it. I'm expecting that to take the rest of the week and probably most of next week to write and choreograph. 	Afternoon! We ran off to town as soon as we were alive this morning. We were out of bread and milk, a TOTALLY unacceptable situation! I'm currently involved in a "rules discussion" on the sister-site. At present, everyone there knows everyone else so we haven't needed much in the way of "rules" but that will eventually change and we're addressing the problem NOW when we have the time to discuss it and aren't under any pressure. I'm also thinking of the "opening move" in the Amazon Cage Fight....
