	Back from Greenwood with cabin fever back under control! Need to make tea and get my snow boots off, not necessarily in that order. Also wondering what the hell is going on to the east of us that sounds like an artillery bombardment -- literally! I wasn't aware of a war in the neighborhood. I think Skywise is sufficiently curious to investigate. We'll see.

	Got a lot done today but not nearly enough. Still working on building my stamina back up but at least I can say I'm symptom free. Finally! Now I need to go swear at the meat that's refusing to thaw. Later.

	Nice quiet day. Sounds like our neighbor to the south is flying around the neighborhood. Yes, one of our neighbors has his own airstrip....sounds like take off and landing practice with some turns thrown in. I've doing a little sewing and reading the blogs of some of my favorite pagan authors and those blogs are leading me to others that are also interesting. It's good to read the thoughts of more experienced practitioners, especially ones on different paths. Thinking about a sandwich... what kind? Ham? Beef? Tuna? Turkey bacon?

	Dinner's over. Thinking about tomorrow, the girls' checks will be in the mail and we'll be taking off at just under the speed of sound to get to the bank before Skywise has to leave for work. Then it will time for me to get to work, writing and other things. Lot to think about tonight.

	Got the official word from Nike. She's going to be swinging steel at RenFaires this season. Mostly those close to her home base in Kansas City. Wish I lived close enough to play too. pout But I probably wouldn't be allowed to swing a sword anyway with my eyes being like they are so it's probably just as well...

	Afternoon! We ran to town as soon as the mail came, went to the bank, got lunch and came home. Skywise will be leaving in about forty-five minutes give or take and then I can get my day organized. Got a bunch of stuff to do starting today and it's not the sort of thing you can multitask so I'm going to have to be even more efficient in multitasking the things that can be done that way. This wouldn't be necessary if I could split into three separate but identical bodies at will and then fuse them back into one at the end of the day....

	We're back from town, needed a few things from Wal-Mart and the grocery store so we went over and had lunch while we were there. Having the Guest House furnace working again (without a $4,000 price tag) is a load off of our minds. Now, we can turn our attention to the water heater. Since we know we're going to have to replace it but don't yet HAVE to, we're taking our time considering our options. A tankless system would be nice but the way our house is arranged, we would need multiple units which puts it out of our price range. The REMC sells and installs electric water heaters and we're going to look into that and, of course, gas ones and compare the two types. I was explaining to Skywise what I intend in the way of bookcases for the basement and that project will be a "go" as soon as the weather improves. I'm going to want to finish the bookcases and that means taking the pieces up to the Guest House, doing the finishing work and bringing the pieces back down here when they're dry. DON'T want to be hauling 6 foot 1 x 12s up and down that slope in nasty, wet or otherwise unpleasant weather! So that will be likely be a summer project. I also need to make a bookcase for Moonie's room and I already have some of the pieces for that. Things are shaping up nicely. Later.

	Just got up from a nap. I should be good to go for about 12 hours or so. Skywise is napping now. I'll be getting him up at 4:30 (he sleeps faster than I do!) and once he's on his way, I'll get started on the rest of the day.

	Very quiet evening, which is good. I still have some things to do, mainly dinner but it will be at least six hours before Skywise gets home so I think I'll have time! 	Not a good morning so far. �A friend with lupus is heading for the ER. She has a leaky heart valve which seems to be leaking more and the doctors don't want to operate because of her overall condition which, because of the lupus, isn't good.

	No word on our friend and none likely tonight. If the worst happens, we won't hear about it until morning. I'm glad that Skywise got to speak to her before she went to the hospital, just in case. Life goes on whether we want it to or not. I ordered some trigger poplin from a place online since it's impossible to find in stores. I used to be able to get it about anywhere that sold fabric but now, nada. So, I'm paying through the nose for shipping (it's a heavy fabric) so I can make my jacket out of the fabric that I want. sigh I also ordered some trim from Calontir Trim. I can find tons of Greek key worked in black and gold in the stores but none worked in black and silver. Fortunately, it doesn't cost as much to ship as the trigger poplin! I'll get it sooner too! Spirit has decided what they're having for dinner and, thank the Gods, it doesn't need to be thawed. Iz a happy cookingperson! And I think that grabbing the computer has lost its charm for SunLord. He was grabbing the bottom edge of the screen and got his claw caught in the speaker holes. We had a bit of a tussle getting him loose without turning the comp over and he complained about it. He jumped off the table and hasn't been back. Moonie checked his paws and they look okay. I'm hoping that he's cured of that particular activity.

	Afternoon. We made a quick run to Floral Gulch for lunch. We also hit the Barnes and Nobel for a Sky at Night magazine for Skywise. Now home and I'm gonna make some tea! No word yet on our friend and we're waiting for the furnace guy to come back. Update on that will be in the Utter Joys of Home Ownership -- but NOT before I get some tea!!
