	Defining "handfast/handfasting" for purposes of the books. It's not the same as "marriage." "Joining" is closer to what we call marriage. "Shacking up" is still shacking up... Laying the groundwork (a little of it at least) for Book 4. A sweet faced little opportunist is gonna be a very unhappy little girl... Ya don't mess with the Amazon daughter of a God...

	Whew! The furnace is finally fixed. We're pretty sure. The guy replaced the switch and cleaned the burners so it SHOULD be good to go. After spending over an hour at the Guest House while the furnace cycled, I'm finally back here and the dishwasher is FINALLY running. Don't know how much of the rest of today's To Do List is gonna get done. I guess I'll get done what HAS to be done before tomorrow morning and roll over the rest. Right now, I'm gonna take a little break and thaw out my nose.....

	I'm thinking that I should set aside some time and decide which pantheons are "in residence" in my "world." The Olympians, of course, and the Egyptians although that one might need to be "simplified" a bit. Egyptian mythology can make your head hurt unless you have VERY good references, a concise text and maybe a wall chart! And at least two pantheons that I'll be creating from scratch for specific roles but I'll probably end up creating more since I specify early on that the Gods came into the world from a multitude of different realities. Yeah, I'm going to need to get this nailed down before I get to Book 4. Gonna need some Divine "REALLY Bad Guys" to get the ball rolling for the world war.....

	Afternoon. So far so good. We got all of our payday stuff done before the snow really started to come down. We've missed the "freezing rain" bullet so that is something that I'm really grateful for. Skywise doesn't anticipate a problem getting to work but getting home tonight could be interesting since that is when the most snow is supposed to fall. Right now, I'm going to get by boots off, make some tea and get Skywise's food bag packed. Later.

	Skywise is on his way. The road is "slushy" and the trucks are out so the trip in will probably be uneventful. Coming home could be interesting. He's already decided on his alternate route. It's longer but sees more traffic so it gets more attention from the county. Still haven't gotten the tea made. Guess that is the next thing...

	Skywise is home and I'm heading out. He called his friend (the one who went to the ER earlier in the week) and she's back home. It turns out it wasn't her heart like they thought but a kidney infection. No fun at all but at least it can be treated so YAY for antibiotics! Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! We're enjoying a lazy afternoon at home. There's nothing that we were going to do today that can't wait, so it's waiting! The sun is trying to come out which is gonna make it blinding when it hits the snow cover! I've already hung a couple of bath towels over the back door curtain rod. That way I can leave the curtain open so the War Queen can look out and soak up the sun through the glass door and I won't have my eyes burned out by reflected sun glare and it won't hit the computer either. Skywise is using the computer downstairs and the girls are taking the opportunity to veg. Moonie's in her room and Spirit has decided to sack out in our bed. It's all good.

	The sun has gone down. It's clear so it's gonna be cold tonight. The furnace at the Guest House is working fine. I'm getting ready to start dinner. And about an hour ago, we had ten deer in our yard and four over at the Guest House. Moonie got pictures.

	We got back about 20 minutes ago. We had a good time and the Barbie exhibit was cool. I saw a lot of dolls that I have in my own collection and a lot of Barbies that I wish I had! Gonna get caught up and then start doing the laundry. Later. GO COLTS!!!

	Morning. Winter storm incoming. They're saying 6+ inches of snow plus blowing and drifting which supposed to start tonight, hopefully after Skywise gets home. I'm starving. Later.

	The forecast is getting a little more definite now. The snow is supposed to start at about 9 to 10 this evening. Skywise is supposed to get off work at 11. sigh There will be much walking the floor until he gets in. It's supposed to snow all day tomorrow and into Wednesday with the wind picking up during the day tomorrow and continuing into Wednesday too. It's gonna be a long 48 hours....

	Morning. We have about 3 inches of new snow so far and it's 23 degrees. So far, it looks like Skywise will be going to work. It's gonna be a long night for me until he gets home. It was after two this morning before he got home. Someone misplaced about 4,000 pieces of mail and then found it as his shift was almost over. sigh Need tea and sustenance. Later.

	Skywise is on his way. He left a bit early so he could take his time. We haven't gotten as much snow as they were predicting last night so if the wind doesn't get too outrageous tonight, he should make it home without too many problems. A book that I'd ordered arrived today so I'm a happy reader person. I probably won't start reading it today although I doubt I'll be able to resist skimming through it.

	The sun is down and it's completely dark so I can actually come out of the bedroom without being struck blind by the glare off of the snow.
