	Morning! It's snowing again but not much. And it's windy but not as bad as they were predicting and Skywise says getting out of here in a few hours won't be a problem. Right now, I need tea and something to eat. Later.

	Skywise is on his way. The fabric I ordered arrived. Fortunately the seller packed it in a heavy plastic mailing bag BECAUSE, the stupid, lazy UPS DRIVER LEFT IT OUT IN THE SNOW propped up next to our mailbox! It could have been stolen or damaged if it had fallen into the road. The was too lazy to pull his truck in at the top of our drive and walk down to the house. I can understand not wanting to pull on the way down to the house, our driveway is formidable but the snow isn't so deep that pulling in off the road is impossible! �Fortunately, it was delivered before Skywise left and he saw it as he was leaving and Moonie brought it down to the house. Damn UPS driver! �

	Things are starting to get back to "normal." I got through my workout, even though the War Queen kept lying down on my chest (Ever try to do crunches with a very large, twelve pound cat on your chest?) and I didn't run of out either energy or air. Tomorrow will be the weight training. We'll see how that goes. Next up, I need to do a few more dishes and see about dinner. �I still needed a nap this afternoon but I didn't sleep as long as I have been so that's good too. �I've been working with my iTunes playlist, making a playlist that will get me moving at a fairly fast pace for an hour. I'm going to add some aerobics -- in the form of free form dancing -- to my program. Belly dancing is good but unless you're doing Turkish style, you aren't doing sustained aerobics and I am in NO way ready for the Turkish style! sigh This isn't getting the dishes done... Later.

	Dinner is cooking, a bit over 20 minutes to go. Having a "Star Trek: TNG" moment. I would really LOVE a replicator in the kitchen. Decide what we're having for dinner and the replicator delivers it in no time flat. No leftovers, no dirty dishes and if everyone wants something different, no problem! sigh Where IS all the cool "21st Century" stuff we were promised back in the 50's and 60's?

	I'm prowling the web tonight. Checked out the IFGS site and forum. The good news is that the new rulebook is done. I've already ordered mine from Amazon.com. The bad news is that the nearest chapter, active or otherwise, is in Wisconsin! I have nothing against Wisconsin except that it is too far away! wail Especially if you want to be part of a social group! commence serious* pouting!*

	Greetings! I'm feeling pretty good today. Maybe I'm FINALLY over the various ailments that have plagued me the last month! The only good thing is that I've lost 7.5 pounds since early January due to having no appetite. Now all I have to do is keep the streak going now that I'm healthy again! 	WELL! I suddenly found myself with a deadline after making my last post and I've been working like a fiend since. I've got the hardest part done so I'm going to take a break, get something to eat and then go over my work one more time before I print it out. Also need to write a cover letter but that won't take long to do. Looks like I'll make my deadline... Later.

	Skywise is on his way and I've been doing a little work on the glossary that goes with the books. It's a work in progress, of course, since I very much doubt that I've created all the specialized words that the "book world" is going to require. I'm feeling the urge to start working on the pantheon list I was thinking about earlier. That or the "races" list which needs to filled out too. Guess I'd better pull up some word docs and get busy. And here you thought all a writer had to do was write the story!

	I've been working on the general descriptions of the different intelligent races on the "book world." There are basic humans, a couple of human "variants", three different kinds of shapeshifters (so far), elves, dwarves, "hobbits" and centaurs and a special classification for vampires and "half vampires." And, of course, the Lizard Men which is requiring the most work. [Think of a hybrid of human and velociraptor and you have the idea. Haven't decided if they have a neck frill or not. I'll have to see what Moonie can come up with.] I'll probably work on the pantheons next since my notes about them are scattered all over the place. I'm going to have to pull out my "Who's Who in Egyptian Mythology" once I have all the Olympian entries done to get the Egyptians sorted out. And now, back to the Lizard Men! Later!

	I've added a couple of more definitions to the glossary and refined a couple of others. STILL working on the Lizard Men. Haven't even gotten to the elves, dwarves and Centaurs yet....

	Thought of another race that I've used that isn't on the list of Races so now I need to get them on the list. THEN, I need to at least start on the Pantheon list! I've made some notes on the Character List so I won't forget the bright idea I came up with when it's time to use it! [Yes, that HAS happened to me more than once, much to my disgust!] Also made a note on the Bestiary List of what the critter looks like. Don't know what I'm going to call it yet but I'll come up with something cool! Omm: Smallville in less than three hours. Wondering if Nike has her comp in working order yet. And lastly, thinking about all those people who "tried" (and failed!) to compete with me in the art of storytelling. THEIR stories made NO sense and petered out once "the Castle" was no longer available to steal ideas from. �Those "stories" are gone and forgotten, never to be resurrected. "The Castle" on the other hand, is growing nicely. The first two books are finished -- or as "finished" as they are going to get pending suggestions from a publishing house's editor! -- and the third one is coming along. The "supplementary" material continues to expand and the "richer" the world gets, the more stories it will generate. Yeah, I'm going to allow myself a modest pat on the back for doing so much and coming so far when so many were sure that I'd fail. �I really can't fail after all. I can't disappoint the person who believed that I could do it when I didn't believe that I could.... Later. After Smallville! ��

	I eliminated one of the races I was creating. I hadn't used it yet so I don't have to go back and change things and by doing so I make Our Heroine's younger brother (and one other relative) very unique in the world which is as it should be! That leaves me with four "racial" write ups to do. That list includes the humans. What I need to do now is find a way to make my elves and dwarves different from what other authors have done while leaving them recognizably what they are. At least I can grab the description of the Centaurs straight (more or less) from Greek mythology and make them more "civilized" that they were in the myths. Ah! Skywise is home. He just informed me that he works tomorrow (which I knew) and he will be on the super late shift -- which I did NOT know. Tomorrow night is going to be a long one. I think I'm going to have time tomorrow night to puzzle out the descriptions I have left to do! Later.

	Okay, the hair is dyed. I'm half drowned but the hair is red! Now on to the next thing which is seeing how dinner is shaping up and working on a "heraldic" design for Our Heroine. She won't need it until Book 4 but inspiration is on me NOW. So, it gets done NOW! I also need a shirt. I'm sitting here topless with my hair in a towel... Later.
