	The entry on dwarves is done and I'm working on the elves but I think I'm going to quit for the night. The creative functions are shutting down fast and the eyes aren't far behind! The elves and the dragonkin can wait until tomorrow or Monday. I DID get started listing the pantheons. I have the Olympians, the Egyptians and the Asgardians so far but I think I'm going to get another root beer and relax until Skywise gets home.

	Afternoon. Sorry I didn't get in here to say goodnight last night. The computers went on strike and refused to connect to the internet. Skywise finally came to a negotiated settlement with them and everything is fine now... Except that it's going to snow again. sigh I'll tell Skywise when he comes in from his walk and we'll probably head into to town since we won't be going tomorrow. Later.

	We're back from town and are stocked up for the week. Between Skywise's schedule and the weather, I would just as soon plan on staying home until Wednesday at the earliest and probably Thursday. Now I have to get the chicken out to finish thawing and get the dishwasher going. Later.

	The dishwasher has stopped. I'm going to have to start beating dinner into submission shortly. Wondering if Nike is going to be able to get her comp fixed or if she's gonna be without home access until she can get a new system. I wanna LARP and there's no one around here -- that I know of -- to do it with! This annoys me profoundly! I wanna kick some badguy butt, damnit! Oh well. Back to the kitchen.... Later.

	Dinner is in the oven. The entry for "Elves" is done and since I haven't yet decided the "who" and the "what" of the last race on my list, I'm going to call the "Races List" done for now. I have enough "stuff" settled that I can finish Book 3. Book 4 is where things start getting complicated... Tomorrow, I'll really start digging into the Pantheons List unless I get a bright idea on Chapter 3 or 4 of Book 3... Right now, though, I gotta get the potatoes peeled. Later.

	Dinner is over and we're watching "The War of the Worlds" [Gene Barry version] on DVD. I checked and my IFGS rule book was mailed on the 11th so it should be here this week since I ordered it from an in-state vendor. �I found a backpack online that I intend to use as a daypack while hiking this summer and, if it works out in field testing, it could be used as a pack for a LARP adventure since it doesn't look "modern." For the record, it's a small ALICE pack. Anyway, I've ordered a catalog from the company -- we've ordered from them before -- and when it comes, I'll order the pack. I'm also going to amuse myself by making costume "components" -- tops, capes, and such -- too. �Ya never know when you're going to need a costume. Or at least, "I" never know! The heraldic "device" I got inspired about yesterday is pretty much finalized. I'm going to need to get some more Prismacolor pencils to color it though. That's okay, I need to fill out my set anyway. I've got a coloring project I've been putting off and I'm thinking that it's time I got around to it. I probably should get some permanent fixative too. So many projects, so little time and books to write too!

	I never cease to be amazed at the people facebook suggests that I be friends with..... Just 'cause one of my buds is VERY active in the RenFaire scene in the Northwest, that doesn't mean that I know all her friends or that they know me! I daresay I'll be getting friend requests from Nike's page too before too long. And some of the people on MY friends list are generating some.. interesting.. suggestions too!

	Skywise has left for work. Traffic seems to be moving well (the "dayshift" workers are coming home right now) so I doubt that he'll have any trouble getting downtown. The snow is still coming down. It's so fine that it looks like fog. I don't know when it's going to stop. I guess I'll know when it does. Right now, I need a snack. It's gonna be a long time until dinner. Later.

	I got a call from Skywise about ten minutes ago. He got to work safe and sound so I can stand down from worrying until about 2:30 am or thereabouts. Guess I'd better get busy doing something connected with the books today. Book 3 isn't going to write itself and neither is the supplementary material. Later.

	Skywise should be home soon. It's still snowing according to the radar but it's hard to tell with the wind picking up. I'm tired and I'm heading out. I did some writing today so I'm slowly starting to get back into the swing of things. And it took a couple of tries but I've finished that heraldic device I've been working on too. 	Afternoon and Happy Fat Tuesday! Also known as Mardi Gras! We've had our traditional pancake breakfast and aside from the fact that the road hasn't been plowed yet and the snow is still blowing around (but not too hard, thankfully!) all is good! Skywise's food is packed so my next chore is to make up a fresh batch of pancake syrup. Then writing and laundry! Later.

	I've been puttering around. I got sidetracked but it was stuff that needed doing so it's okay. I got the syrup made. I've tinkered with the recipe a bit. The flavor is perfect so we'll just have to see how it does when it's cold. Gotta get more pancakes first to do that though! Fat Tuesday cleaned us out of pancakes! Back to work I go, there is laundry on the bed that needs attention. Later.

	My IFGS Rulebook arrived today and I'll be going over it and comparing it to the previous edition. I've already found one "problem". There are still no rules for running a "modern/urban" fantasy game. Granted, running an urban fantasy would require a lot more planning for the "field" part of the game but it could be done with some imagination. No "firearms" rules either although there are at least four ways to simulate it that I've thought of: paintball, lazer tag, Nerf guns and last but not least (but certainly the wettest!), water pistols and SuperSoakers! �I gotta hunt up my log in info and get busy on the forum. �Some members might not appreciate it but the IFGS is going die out if something isn't done. "Same old, same old" sure isn't working...

	Morning! We took off for town first thing this morning. We needed to see if we could get the van out of the driveway (we did) and we picked up the "bulky" stuff on the shopping list -- paper towels, Puffs and tp. Along with a couple of twelve packs each of root beer and caffeine free Coke and some other odds and ends that we won't have to get tomorrow now. We had "lunch" -- which was really breakfast! -- at Wendy's and home. Then, we got to see if we could get the van back down the drive way. We slipped a couple of times but Skywise kept the acceleration on and we backed down the driveway without getting stuck. So it's "Yay Team!" all the way around. Now, I'm going to get caught up. 	Afternoon. We're back from town with a ton of supplies that I'll get put away during the course of the day. The van got stuck in the snow about halfway down the driveway. We got it unstuck without having to resort to shoveling and the van is now parked at the top of the driveway. Of course, that meant that we had to pack all the groceries down our 350+ foot drive through the snow. Not fun but with four of us, it didn't take too long. Unless we're lucky tomorrow, the van probably won't be parked in it's usual spot until next week some time. I hope we can get it parked tomorrow. I don't like leaving it next to the road.
