	I've thought of something that I'm going to need to clarify and the place to do it is Book 2. Fortunately, Book 2 is in "proofing and revision" at the moment so it won't be too hard to do. Just have to find the right place...

	Afternoon! We went to Floral Gulch this morning and got back about half an hour ago. I'm checking the radar now 'cause it's TOO hot for May and that usually means that thunderstorms are in our future. I'm also making tea which I REALLY need. Plans for today: write myself into a coma. First up: I have one of the terms I need. Now to add it to the glossary and define it. THEN, I need to come up with the other term I need and define that.

	The naughty encounter isn't done yet but I have hopes that Chapter 4 will be finished tomorrow which is good 'cause Skywise is taking two weeks of vacation starting Saturday and I don't know how much writing time I'm going to have. Anyway, he's home, some rain is moving in (another cold front coming through) and I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! We've been back for a while. I've been putting things away and getting more or less organized for the afternoon. Skywise starts a two week vacation tomorrow so YAY! we'll have a "normal" schedule for two weeks!

	Chapter 4 is just about done. I'm going to finish it up and then read it over again tomorrow or next week some time to make sure everything that should be in there is. Later tonight, AFTER Smallville, I'll probably work on that scene that needs to go into Book 2 and get that out of the way. At least I won't have to renumber and reprint the WHOLE manuscript, just about 55 pages or thereabouts.

	Chapter 4 is finished and the "leftovers" in that chapter were bumped to Chapter 5. What was Chapter 5 will end up being Chapter 6. Chapter 4 came in at around 40 pages in Times New Roman. So far, Book 3 is on track to be about as long as Book One. � That would make the combined page count for all three books come in at just under 1,200 pages. Good thing I decided to write more than one book! I've also had my walk so I'm going to do a few dishes and settle in to watch the season finale of Smallville!

	That scream you heard at around 9:00 pm edt was me. SMALLVILLE IS A CLIFFHANGER!!! OLLIE HAS BEEN ATTACKED!! FATE UNKNOWN!! CLARK IS FALLING OFF A VERY TALL BUILDING WITH A BLUE KRYPTONITE KNIFE STUCK IN HIM!! At least Zod and the Kandorians are gone. And the Kandorians know that Zod murdered Faeora so they should be dealing with him harshly. And I'm pretty sure that they've found a way to bring Lex Luthor back with or without the actor who played him. I MAY NOT SURVIVE UNTIL SEPTEMBER!!! AT THE LEAST, I WILL LIKELY LOSE MY MIND!! I think I'm gonna see who has a deal on Season 8 Smallville dvds this weekend....

	I've just about written a decent explanation about why Our Hero has to get it on with Aphrodite. Not that he's complaining, mind you, but he'd rather be bedding the heroine. Anyway, I've just about have it all explained. Once it's done, I'll stick it in Book 2, renumber the pages and THAT will be out of the way. Of course, I'll have to reprint those pages but there's no help for it. Right now, though, my bed calls. Loudly and insistently and I'm gonna answer. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon! Saturday errands are done and we're in for the day. I'm going to get back on that Book 2 explanation and get it inserted. I still need ONE WORD to describe what the Heroine has become and I'm having trouble finding one that has the proper ring to it. Other than that, all I need is to smooth out the rough edges, put it in and renumber the pages.

	I STILL haven't found the right word but the scene is inserted, necessary tweaks done and the pages are renumbered. I ended up having to renumber about 180 some pages since the scene took more lines than I'd originally thought. I've just decided to reprint the entire manuscript when I'm done proofing, it's just simpler that way. Right now dinner is in the oven and I'm working on Chapter 5 which features some heavy vampire neck action pretty much right off the bat... (no pun intended!)

	Morning. We have rain. Lots of it. Enough to mess up our plans for today AND enough to interfere with the satellite signal so I'm getting knocked offline from time to time. Someone has seriously POed the Racing Gods. I hope that they are appeased by next weekend. We're supposed to go to the track for qualifications on Sunday. Right now though, need tea and a bite to eat.

	Well THAT didn't work! The dishwasher quit. Skywise got it working but it quit again halfway through the cycle. I ended up washing everything by hand. Dinner was two hours late. sigh Better luck tomorrow.
