	Afternoon! We took off fast this morning. Skywise pulled the broken switch out of the dishwasher this morning and we went in search of a replacement. The local Radio Shack didn't have it but he ordered it for us and we should have it in a few days so we will NOT have to buy a new dishwasher! Do I need to say that this is a good thing? Didn't think so! I also got a small (5 x 7 feet) rug for my dance/exercise studio. I'll get another one later when I have more space cleared. I'll probably end up needed 4 of that size to cover the entire area. I'm NOT going to put money into a full sized 12 x 16 foot rug until I have something better than a concrete floor to put it on and I suspect that it will be a while before we can do that. I also got another printer cartridge and more paper for the printer so that when I'm ready to print Book 2 out again, I'll have supplies on hand. Now I'd better see about some tea. Later.

	I've spent the last couple of hours hunting information on the accurate description of the various ethnic divisions of humanity. The Castle world is not inhabited entirely by Eastern Europeans and I need to reflect that in an accurate and respectful manner and I can't use references that relate to this world. After all, the people there have never heard of "here" and it would be a damned jarring anachronism (for want of a better word) for the reader if I used them. Sooooo, I'm looking up -- or trying to! -- descriptions of eyes and skin tones. I'm pretty sure that I have enough to work with right now. [When I was doing the original postings, I just "cast" the characters and posted pictures of the actors. Can't do that now...]

	Dinner's over and I'm presently working on getting Our Hero and His Lady out of the woods and into bed which is harder than it sounds! Since the original storyline has been modified, I've got some tweaking to do in addition to expanding the "action." Having limited time to post and keeping things PG-13 forced some compromises in the story. No such restrictions now! So, I'm gonna let it all hang out. TASTEFULLY, of course! Back to work for me! 	Okay, they are out of the woods, in the bed and more or less naked. They are an impatient pair, I must say! Anyway, things proceed at a satisfactory pace so I'm pleased. This is likely to take a few days to do what with vacation and all. The SunLord has a vet appointment in the morning so that will cut into writing time too. Post # 15,600

	We took the SunLord to the vet this morning. He has dry eyes (maybe from allergies) and a bit of infection, probably from the constant eye rubbing he's been doing. He got a shot of long acting antibiotic and some eye drops which he will need to get 3 times a day for the next ten days. We're all gonna DIE! Sunnyboy does NOT like meds! Need food, back later.

	SunLord has had his second dose of eye drops and we're all still alive. It took 3 of us to hold him though. I think I'll slip him some catnip next time and see if that makes him more agreeable!

	Afternoon! We went to Floral Gulch this morning, ate and hit Barnes and Noble. On the way home, we stopped for ice cream at the DQ. I was good and just had a hot fudge sundae instead of one of their sinfully delicious, high calorie confections. I got the Latin Dictionary I wanted to consult earlier in the week and the IronMan 2 novelization. We got home, dosed a VERY uncooperative SunLord and are now settled in for the day. I had a psychic reading done overnight and I picked that up this morning. It was very encouraging in the main so I'm breathing a bit easier. Patience will be easier to manage with this information in hand. Right now, tea and checking the weather. It was sunny this morning but now it's cloudy. Poo! Later.

	We're back and I'm stuffed with lasagna! I spent the afternoon working on Book 2, putting in corrections and getting it ready to print (again). The book I've been reading about what agents and publishers look for in a manuscript has me redoing the "look" of my manuscripts. I've already redone Book 2 although there are still some corrections that need to be done and I'm going to redo Book 1 this evening. That means I'll have to run off a new copy of Book 1 too but the improved look should be worth it. Note to self: Get another print cartridge and more paper! Better get back to work. Later.

	We're back from errands. Loaded up on meat at the market so naturally, we got caught in a traffic jam. Fortunately, I'd thrown a couple of frozen ice packs into the insulated carrier so everything was still cold by the time we got home. Found a happy surprise in the mailbox. The knee brace that I was told (yesterday) wouldn't arrive until around the 10th came today. I'm wearing it now and will for the rest of the day. The real test will be tomorrow when we're trekking around the track. In case anyone asks you, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is HUGE! Especially on foot! Spirit is lobbying hard for dinner "out" tomorrow which suits me just fine. After a day of watching cars go fast and walking all over the infield and up and down in the stands, cooking does NOT appeal! Right now, I'm gonna kick back with my tea and finish the reformating of Book 2.

	Still working on Book 2 and wearing the brace. So far so good on both counts. I'm having very little pain and it isn't bad enough to merit painkillers. This is a good thing. Better yet, my jeans fit over the brace and it's completely unnoticeable. Pending tomorrow's testing, I'm thinking I'll be ordering another one next week for my right leg. I might be doing "floorwork" yet!

	I'm done reformating Book 2 so now I can concentrate on proofing it and working on Book 3. But not tomorrow. Tomorrow I'll be prowling around the Track watching race cars go fast!
