	Morning. I've been up for a while, taking care of stuff. I'm not aching this morning. I must be in better condition than I thought. I was sure yesterday's marathon trek though the steambath that was the Indianapolis Motor Speedway would have left me with severely aching legs but no, my legs are fine this morning. I'm wearing the brace and aside from a few minor twinges, I'm painfree and walking normally. You have NO idea how great that is. I can't remember the last time I could walk without pain.... We're going to head into town for some lunch. Be back later.

	I'm currently elaborating on the fate of a certain pain in the butt character. She's not "dead" but she's mighty unhappy and she's about to discover that the engagement ring she bespelled Our Hero into giving her has been retrieved and currently is in the possession of her greatest rival, Our Heroine. There is nothing she can do about it in her current state but she'll try something stupid sometime in Book 4 and then, she'll get hers. I haven't decided on the particulars yet but in Book 4, yeah, that unpleasant little loose end will get tied off for good.

	I'm working on tying a couple of sections of text together and it's coming along well. I want to elaborate one part a little more (the vampire neck action) and tweak another place but I think I can manage that without compromising the original. All in all, it's going well.

	Morning! The washer is chugging away, I have a mountain of laundry to do, and I have tea. What I NEED is breakfast so that's next. I washed my brace last night and it's still a little damp but it feels good and my jeans are absorbing the excess moisture. I figured out a new wrinkle that will make life for Our Heroine a bit more complicated down the road. Divine paranoia is a wonderful thing for a writer to play with.....

	We went into town, had some lunch, checked on the part for the dishwasher which "should" have come in last Thursday. The guy at Radio Shack was getting ready to light a fire under the supplier when we left the store. In the meantime, I'm still doing "dish duty." Something's wrong with the sliding door on the van, we'll be seeing about that next week. We picked up a few odds and ends at Wal-Mart and came home to a nice cool house. Ah.. time to start another load of laundry and get Chapter 5 on deck. Later.

	Time to start dinner. I've deleted quite a bit from Chapter 5 and I'm now trying to fill the gaps in with something that makes sense with what I've kept in. Gotta get Our Heroine's little bro back on the road since he wasn't around for the castle being invaded. Then I gotta set up the AMAZON DEATH MATCH although I haven't decided if anyone is gonna end up dead or just severely humiliated. The loser might make a good recruit for the main villain. Have to think about it. �Then I have to get the "alliance marriage" thing off stage and get to work on the "Alitha's Kiss" story thread. All in Chapter 5. I'm gonna TRY to keep it from slopping over into Chapter 6 but if it runs too long, I'll have to. Right now though, I gotta start dinner. I really need a cook! �

	Dinner's done and I've put Chapter 5 to bed for the night. I got a lot done on it today. I probably won't make as much progress tomorrow. Much plotting has to be done to get the characters where they need to be and I have to figure out how Our Heroine finds out about the "invaders" since that needs to be changed and where they came from needs to be spelled out too. This in addition to everything else I need to put in. I'm anticipating more thinking than writing tomorrow. And on that note, I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. I'll be glad when the damned dishwasher is fixed. I'm facing another stack of dirty dishes this morning. The stupid part was supposed to be in last Thursday and they get their parts deliveries on Thursday so it will be tomorrow before it arrives IF it arrives at all. Otherwise, things are going well. Haven't pulled Chapter 5 up yet but I will as soon as I get a few things off my desk. sigh Later.

	Skywise took pity on me and we went to KFC for dinner so I didn't have to cook tonight. With the dishwasher down, I haven't have much of a vacation this time. I'm hoping that the part will come in tomorrow so Skywise can put the thing back together! I did a little writing this afternoon and I may do a little more. I've just about got Our Heroine's little bro back on the road and with that on the way, I can start solving my next story problem.

	I don't feel quite so full now and I've been mulling what to do next in Chapter 5 while working on my BOS. I think I'm going to put that away for the night and see what I can do with Chapter 5.

	After the "test run" was over, I loaded the dishwasher and it's about done. I may run another load later. I'll definitely be doing another tomorrow. THEN I should have everything caught up in the dirty dish department. Just in time for vacation to be over..... Oh well, it's only about 3 months until the next one.

	Afternoon! We're back from payday shopping. I'm still thinking about customizing armor from Leather Lore. I'm also thinking about obtaining some of the smaller pieces first to check the quality and service before plunking down major cash. Too bad they don't hit the RenFaires around here, I'd make the trip just to see their stuff in person. Oh well. I'll be back exercising next week so by the time I have the cash for the armor, I'll have a body that does it justice...

	Afternoon! We just got back and the mailbox was stuffed! I got my book, my dvd and one of the ink cartridges I ordered. Aside from the fact that Skywise has to go to work in about an hour, all is good. I'm going to get some tea and then get his food.. And he just walked in with broken glasses.... Joy.

	We got his glasses fixed, need to get more repair kits, and he left on time. I've been watching my new dvd. It was rattling around in the case but fortunately, it doesn't appear damaged. I've been looking at my new book too. I may do a review when I've read the whole thing. It's a ritual book and what I've read so far is beautiful.
