muscovite that is green in color is called Fuchsite. Muscovite itself is also known as common mica, Isinglass, or Potash mica. ok this minerial is usually green or emerald green in color and has a MOH's hardness of 2-3. This mucovite gets it's green coloring from chromium in it.

As such it has the additional properties of mica.
