	Morning. I'm sick. Gonna be a long day, most of which will be spent on the couch, Need tea and something to eat, more clothes and cough syrup is likely in my future. And a couple of rampaging kittens are running around my feet.

	Skywise is getting ready to leave. Moonie is in bed. Sick. Spirit is asleep on the sofa. Probably sick. My temperature is 97.2 degrees which is a bit low even for me. So.... I'm gonna make myself a nest on the floor in front of the tv and watch some dvds between coming in here and making sure the spammers aren't taking over the place. sigh It is also a rainy day which is making the cool temps feel colder. We've turned on the furnace to take the chill off. If we weren't all sick, we'd probably delay that but we are so we won't.

	Thanks, hon. And the icing on the cake is that just before he left, Skywise found a leak in the basement, dripping down from the ceiling. Based on my preliminary investigation, I'm gonna put my money on a leak from the bathtub drain in the main bathroom. I have a bucket under it at the moment and I may put some VERY brightly colored water down it later and see what drips out. But not now. I need to crash.

	Hubby got some mango flavored soda for us to try yesterday... It is sooooooooooooooo good............. He'll be home in about an hour or so... He's picking up some diet lemon lime soda and some dried thyme... I need the thyme because I'm making my herb and spice potatoes for supper tonight. Yummy...

	Uh oh... BIL just announced to his girlfriend's ENTIRE FB list what year she was born.... If she clobbers him for it (and she probably will!!), he deserves every single bit of it!! Hubby said it was just plain stupid of him to do that to her... I'm going to go put on the slicker, sit behind the plexiglass barrier and hide cause I have a feeling this one is going to be ultra messy......... � ETA: Post #3000 with this account!!

	If she's sensitive about her age, yeah, the fertilizer is gonna hit the fan big time. I'm up for a bit. I watched a dvd for a while then laid down with the Queen. I'm going to get a little something to eat and then take some cough syrup. I can feel things tightening/filling up in my chest and I really don't need that...

I'm still hiding or talking to the rest of the gang in FB and hoping the barrier and slicker is enough protection for when things start happening.................... 	Morning! It's a chilly, WET day out there today... And tomorrow is going to be WORSE! I'm not feeling great right now... My sister announced on FB that one of our godmothers passed away yesterday. She was 94 years old on the dot she passed away on her birthday. Naturally the family is really upset, she was the closest thing all of us kids had to a grandmother growing up. (My biological maternal grandmother is still alive but never acknowledged her two oldest children, my mother and my uncle, nor did she acknowledge any of her grandchildren from those two) I'm not sure if I will be able to attend her funeral or not, it all depends if Hubby is working on the day we say goodbye to her. I hope I can attend. Just to think, I didn't want to take my son the last time I visited her but I took him anyway.... Now I'm glad I did take him along because she was so happy to see him. I really thought she would live to see 100 years old... But 94 is still a good long life and I'm glad she made it that far. I am around if anyone needs me. I may be on the quiet side today but I'm still here.

	Thanks Penth. I'm okay, just a little shocked even though we knew her kidneys were failing. Sliced/sectioned lemons stewed with a LOT of sugar is supposed to help a cough, according to the one herbal book I have here. Hopefully that cold goes away soon, it sounds like it's a nasty one!! Oh boy, it sounds like you have two ultra smart babies there... Next thing you know, they'll be taking over Facebook or something at this rate!!!

	One of the kits just jumped up, caught the edge of my chair seat, climbed up the back of the chair to the top, got on my shoulder, climbed down into my lap and, after being perched on my leg, is now sitting next to the computer mouse.

	I was petting Ambers and she rolled, almost falling off the chair... Thank the stars for quick kitty reflexes and the fact I had my hand on her side so she didn't fall.... She's now bathing and looking at me as if to say "Well, PET ME AGAIN!!" Silly cat....

	Skywise and Spirit are back from their supply run. Spirit is a very determined girl. She got into Walmart ahead of Skywise and by the time he got in there, she was already filling out the paperwork to get a flu shot! She even had her money out to pay for it! Skywise explained to the nurse that Spirit was autistic and that he had to sign for her. So Spirit has had her flu shot and the rest of us will get ours later. He also brought Moonie and me some lunch.
