I'm trying to edit a few things in Book 2... After seeing a certain video I just realized I do NOT have the leading lady's full description nailed down until Chapter 16... OOPS. I do give a sort of one in the Prologue and Chapter 2 but nothing like I SHOULD have!! DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH......... *headdesk* Smiley

Afternoon. We are back from town and recovering from "gasoline sticker shock." Unleaded regular is $4.25 to $4.29 a gallon all over the state. Smiley Weep for us.....

One of our common friends told me how much gas is in St. Stephen New Brunswick... I just about CRIED!! 99 cents a litre? That's CHEAP!!!!

It makes me want to hurl too... Then again, they're right on the US border so that's probably why their gas is so darn cheap. *SIGH* It hasn't been that low over here in ages. Sad It's $3.80 per US gallon by the way.

Ugh, the bus came before the 2:20 alarm... Normal bus time is around 2:28!!!

The kids are getting off the bus faster. The school bus normally goes by here at 7:30 in the morning and 4 in the afternoon.

7:18 for the elementary kids, about 8 or so for the high school and junior highs. I'm not sure what time the junior highs and high schoolers get out because I don't really pay attention after my son is home. I'll be paying attention when he hits grade 6 and moves into junior high though!

K through Grade 12 all ride the same bus. The K - 2 kids are dropped off first, then the 3 - 5 and the others last. There are, at the moment, 3 different buildings.

It's always been at least two different morning buses for the older and younger gangs here. The junior and high school kids go on the same bus in the mornings because they transfer at the junior high building at my son's school and go to the high school from there.

We're a small district population wise but we're spread over three townships in two counties. We can't afford to separate buses for the the younger and older kids.

We're a little more densely populated here. Our school district covers two counties too but there are a few more towns in them and more students. I think there are something like five or six towns in just my county alone, and a few larger communities, plus the rest of the rural kids. My old high school was designed for only about 650 students and it has about 1000 in it at the moment. When I was there, it was closer to 1300 kids. It took a long time to get from class to class in that traffic jam!

I'm soon zipping out for a few, I have to go to the store... The one at the end of the road. The one on the highway closed last week for good so I'm going to have to get used to going to the other one now.
