I'm heading out before I lose my sweet disposition. I've been trying to update the payment information with my internet service provider since Discover changed my account number on a whim. AND THE DAMNED SOFTWARE WON'T LET ME UPDATE MY ACCOUNT INFORMATION!!!  Smiley Their response to my email request for help was to send me a link that, so far, does not work.  Smiley I'm going to turn the problem over to Skywise, maybe he can get somewhere with it and, if not, go "supervisor" on whoever answers the "help" line. 'Cause if something isn't done, they won't get paid on the 27th and that would probably negatively impact my internet service. *sigh*

We dropped Hubby off at work about half an hour ago and I'm now on coffee #3 of the day already.... I've been awake since 3 a.m. but only got up at 4 a.m., on less than 5 hours of sleep.

I'm gonna be a walking zombie by the time 6 p.m. rolls around........  Smiley

On a better note, I'm considering getting a few things ready for the big launch tomorrow.... I'm going to show off a couple of things to a select group of special people and keep screaming it from the rooftops that the white rose profile will be changed over as of tomorrow. Heh.  Smiley

New banner designed for my author's page... That will be revealed tomorrow during the launch. Cheesy It's the same photo I use for certain things but with a different saying on it. I hope everyone likes it.

I'm still expecting a HUGE boom from about an hour north of me and mainland NS to be split into two pieces when "someone" sees the new look......... AND the big surprise.....  Smiley

*KICKS HUGHESNET!!!!!*


Skywise managed to find out why I couldn't update our info last night -- no thanks to HughesNet! It seems that they no longer accept Discover but couldn't be bothered to TELL US that so the software refused to recognize my card and insisted that I indicate whether it was a credit or debit card.  Smiley I'm not sure exactly what he did (aside from using a MasterCard) since my cognitive functions were rapidly going offline by that time but I gather that we have a new username, password and account in addition to the change in payment information. He also had to modify our address so the stinking software would accept THAT! So yeah, HughesNet is on my Smiley List this morning and the service that the electric co-op is offering is looking mighty attractive!

And good morning and damn I need tea!

Home and exhausted. It was fun, there was a great breeze coming off the lake. Son didn't go in the water for very long because he didn't like the feel of the rocks under his feet. He still had a great time though.

The funny thing is, when I was a child, that park had sand for the beach and it wasn't bad on the feet at all unless you went out a LONG ways, like out to the drop off. I had forgotten that some idiot in the provincial parks department had ordered a few truckloads of rocks to be put on the beach there, to "preserve" it, and it was ruined after I hit my late teens. Roll Eyes

I'm definitely going to be getting water socks for him... I can use canvas sneakers for myself, I did that back at Nanny's cabin. They had a rock beach and huge rocks that were VERY sharp back at that lake!

Yeppers.

On that note, everything from my ribcage down is screaming in pain so I'm going go pop a bottle of aspirin and hand the computer over to Son for an hour or so before he goes to bed. I don't think I'll be coming back online to start everything at midnight... I'll be up for 21 hours straight then and it is NEVER a good idea to do detailed work when one has been up THAT long.

Once again, congrats to Bridgewater, NS on winning Nova Scotia's prize for the TSN-Kraft Celebration Tour.

Just to catch y'all up...

MIL is much better Smiley  The specialist changed her meds and it's made a big difference.  All last week was pretty busy afk, a bit more of the same coming up as we are leaving in a couple hours to spend a few days with my parents.  The nice thing is, I'll actually have time for a proper reading/catch up on here when we 're there.  It's nice to hide in rural areas Cheesy  We are considering trying out some "star trail" photography while we're out there.  Or maybe just full moonlight shots.  It was so bright here tonight it was unreal..
