Mine will be calling from work after his shift in about half an hour. He works a short shift tomorrow evening until 7:30 or 8 tomorrow but is off on Friday because he has to run his mother to an appointment very early that day. I think he's on days over the weekend too come to think of it, but I can't remember if it's the shorter day shift or the full one. Brain NOT working....  Smiley

I'm just happy that there aren't any "really late shifts" this week. Getting to bed at 4 am or later does NOT agree with me! Especially if the phone starts ringing at 8 or 9 in the morning......

I completely understand that. When the station was 24 hours (it's back to 18 now, 6 a.m. to midnight), Hubby sometimes wound up working the evening shift (3-11) and if the person taking over for the night shift didn't show up, he'd wind up sometimes having to work until about 3 a.m. or sometimes later.... There were a number of times he wound up having to go in and work the 11-7 shift on NO sleep and sometimes after he worked the 7-3 that day, when someone decided they were "sick"... "Friday-flu" and "Saturday night-itis" were VERY common back then, but things have changed a LOT since the station no longer has the back shift, Hubby is no longer assistant manager and the fact the manager has stopped hiring kids and tends to fire anyone who seems to be "sick" a lot on the weekends pretty darn fast... Thank the gods.

I just checked. The deliciously naughty outfit that I bought was mailed First Class Mail and the package cleared the Indianapolis Sort Facility (where Skywise works) a couple of hours ago! hehehe That means I could get it tomorrow or Friday at the latest.
Hot damn! Skywise is doomed and I gotta get some black stockings!

Doing a few backups on the external at the moment... The manuscripts file that contains EVERYTHING is 1GB in size....... Shocked

I'll be cleaning off the 8GB camera card next so I have LOTS of room for the concert, which has been bumped to Saturday night. The guys are playing at an all weekend festival and their time slot was switched over to Saturday at 10 p.m. I want LOTS of room for videos AND still shots of the guys rocking the place! Cheesy

The day has yet to improve noticeably. We made a mad dash into town for lunch at Spirit's request. McDonald's has a Smurf Happy Meal promotion going at the moment and since Spirit MUST have all things "smurf" we'll be eating at McD's for a while. *sigh* At least there isn't too much sodium in their fish sandwich if you tell them to leave the cheese off.....

Hubby has left for work so I'm going to open Book 2 and start a full reread/edit on what's in that main manuscript file. I still have the external hooked up to the computer so I'll just do another backup after I'm done and ready to go offline for the night.

Understood. Hubby works the short shift (3-7:30) so it's not late for us at least. He has a couple of things to pick up on the way home too so it'll be around 8 or so when he gets home.

I may "disappear" on and off myself, especially if I'm deep into the editing. I have about five hours to work on things so I'm going to get to it and hope the eyes hold out. Thank the stars for updated glasses and eye drops................................. Smiley

I just remembered I had to check for directions to the music festival this weekend... It's happening about where I thought it would be.

The day has improved somewhat. My package of "naughty" has arrived and I'll be seeing how it fits shortly. I also received a long awaited book. I ordered in a year ago May but the author missed her deadline and I've been waiting patiently. It's a Dark Shadows novel: Wolf Moon Rising by Lara Parker who was part of the cast of the original show.

Tried on my "naughty" and the belt fits beautifully. I "overflow" the bra somewhat but that probably won't be a problem. Smiley I'll have to lose about 6 inches off my hips before the panties will fit but finding lace undies in my size isn't a problem. The belt was what I was having trouble finding and it fits perfectly. The garters will need to be shortened but I can't do that until I have the stockings....

I'm working on Book 2 right now. I did catch a typo (that didn't show up in Word, the word itself was spelled correctly but it was the wrong tense) in Chapter 12 and am continuing on with it... AFTER I get more coffee that is!  Smiley
