I'm wondering if my taffeta will arrive today. I have a graphic novel "out for delivery" so it should arrive this afternoon and some things that Skywise ordered "should" be here tomorrow. And then I think that's "it" for deliveries for a while. I had three "preorders" from amazon and two of them arrived last week with the third hitting the mailbox today.

Hubby got home 15 minutes ago and I now have supper going. It'll be ready in about 5 minutes or so. When that and Son's supper are ready, I'll dive back into the editing. I'm in Chapter 28 right now and want to get up past Chapter 30 if I can do it before I sign out for the night.

Starting Chapter 29 now. I'm listening to music while the guys are absorbed in Star Trek: TNG reruns on Space.

Cripes, Chapter 31 is a rough read... It's only going to get worse over the next couple of chapters though. *SIGH* Chapter 32, here I come... IF Son will stay OUT of the computer area, that is.... Roll Eyes

I slipped up to the Guest House and worked on the cookbook bookcase. I'd be farther along if I had more 2 inch C-clamps and some 1 1/4 inch wood screws. Oh well. By this time tomorrow it will be "assembled" enough that I can stand it up on end and things will go a bit faster. Since I'm gonna leave it unfinished for the moment, it will be ready to use by the end of the week at the very latest.

Just finished Chapter 33, the ULTRA long roller coaster ride.... EEP.

Time for eyedrops, then on to Chapter 34, which is a LOT lighter in mood... I think the reader will need humor and fun after the last few chapters. Talk about one heck of a rough ride!  Smiley

I'm stunned. I've managed to add a little to Book 4 -- which could still turn out to be Books 4 and 5 -- today. Maybe my writing mojo is starting to dig its way out from under the Sodium Obsession....

I have 11 more days until my FIRST writing day of the school year... I can't wait! I was considering staying up and having one more late night writing session this week but since it's only a few more days, I'm going to wait and work on getting Book 1's package ready for a publisher. I'd like to have it sent out before October 19th, which will be a year since I finished its first draft.

That is, unless Hubby takes Son shopping with him this week, then I'll dive back into writing Book 2... Hehehehehehehe....

I was bad. I was on Amazon today and ordered another sewing book. In my defense it is a "specialty" book on "embellishment" -- beading and the like. I've done simple beading but this book gets into the really "high end" complex stuff and I DO love "unique" things.....

I'm really going to have to put a choke chain on myself for a while! I went nuts getting low/no sodium cookbooks and now these preorders have come through. Two of them I ordered more than a year ago but the authors missed their deadlines so both books have shown up now. My best bet is to stay far, FAR away from amazon at least until the end of next month!

Ugh, I hate that! They always seem to arrive VERY late in the day too and that's rotten. It's like they think everyone doesn't have anything better to do than sit on their rumps and wait for a freaking package... Sorry but we customers DO have lives.... Roll Eyes

Hubby has the next three days off. It's nice having him home and Son is VERY happy. Son had a hair cut this morning and Hubby had the car checked over by a trusted mechanic already, and they're now getting an Enterprise model cleaned up so they can admire it.

Me, I'm waiting for them to get out of the kitchen so I can continue working on Book 1 of the duology. I may play a few games in FB while they're roaming around. I'm in the latter parts of the book and there are some spots that are NOT fit for a 9 year old's eyes, especially one that can read and comprehend things as well as my kid! *SIGH*

Okay so draft 1 of that part of a publisher package is DONE for the time being. Hopefully the guys will STAY in the living room for a while so I can get back to work on the most recent edit/reread. I haven't gotten that far thanks to them driving me BALLISTIC!!!!  Smiley
