That's ebil.

I'm fiddling with various word documents and found a mistake in the assembly instructions for "the dress" that I fixed. Now that I have all my sewing books at hand with my most recent purchase due here Tuesday, I need to step up my search for the other two books that I need. It hasn't been THAT long since I had them and it annoys me that they seem to have gone on "walkabout." It isn't like I can look up pagan polyamorous handfastings and vampire blood rituals just anywhere!

Laundry... Cat decided to use Son's good black and gray hoodie for a bed and it's now covered in cat hair. Thank the stars for DRYERS taking off most of it... After it's washed of course. Tongue

ETA: Cat adores Son, and loves to sleep on his stuff, including the book bag, which I cleaned up and packed the other day. They're buddies and I have NEVER seen a cat so good with a child in all of my life. She's one VERY good natured and loving furball!  Smiley

Afternoon!

The SunLord is a bit in the doghouse. I put six pairs of Skywise's clean pants on the bed, intending to put them away later. When "later" arrived, I discovered SunLord sound asleep on the pile. Of the six pairs of pants, three pairs will have to be re-washed since they have cathair on the outsides AND the insides....

I just got an order to make MORE of that sweet and sour sauce for supper tonight... It was a huge hit with the guys. Hubby is getting cornstarch on his way home so I can make it without having to reduce it down.

Don't ya love it when a recipe is a hit?

Skywise had to work today. It took the higher ups most of the week to decide whether or not they needed him to. He's going to be working Monday too so tomorrow will be his only day off out of the 3-day weekend. The only consolation is that it will mean a very nice paycheck and we'll be on vacation for three weeks starting next Saturday.

Yeah I do.

"Someone" is on a VERY long time out right now... All I did was ask to have the toys in the living room picked up so we could walk without stepping on something and I got about a half hour of backtalk... So someone LOST computer time and will be VERY lucky if his father doesn't take away more when he gets home.... NOT HAPPY.  Smiley

I'm back. It got "interesting." We lost the satellite connection and the lights tried to go out but fortunately, did not. But I shut everything down anyway. We're in the clear for the moment although that could change. More "weather" is around.

In other news, I found the vampire ritual book so now all I have left to find is the book on handfastings. I know St. Anthony is gonna come through for me. Soon, I hope. Although I expect that "The Vampiric Bond" ritual will be very useful. It already has me thinking.
