Still scattered and going over Book 1. I found a copy that is the least "mangled" by the "export to Word" process and I'm fixing the mangles so when I go to hardcopy printing, I have a decent copy ready.

Adding techniques to my sewing book from various sources since that's about all the cognitive functions can handle tonight. I'm also trying to come up with a name for a small but important character for Book 4. The name has to be EXACTLY right and so far, nothing is. It's a good thing I have a respectable collection of "baby name" books but I STILL may have to create a name from scratch.

Got a few things added. Spent most of my time looking for suitable illustrations since the book I'm working from is from the 70's and definitely "pre-personal computers" so no part of it is online. And finding clear and simple line diagrams of the various procedures instead of photos (which makes it very hard to see the details) is a pain in the posterior.

Morning.

I'm here for the rest of the morning and part of the afternoon... I'll be getting ready for something that's happening tonight though... There's something going on called "Locals Only" at the one spot in town and it features local music... Tonight, it's heavy metal bands and my BILs' band has a set!

This is my kind of thing... I love metal music and seeing the guys performing again is the icing on the cake! I wouldn't be going if they were not playing though. I plan on getting some photos and possibly some video so anyone who has me on FB better be prepared to see some new stuff uploaded tomorrow.

I even have my outfit laid out already... I'll be wearing the WGD tee shirt and my rose embroidered jeans... Debating between sneakers and 2 inch spike heeled boots. I'm leaning toward the boots even though they are NOT good for me to drive in... Hmm....

I'm here until about suppertime, then I'll be off. The gig starts at 7, runs until 10 or so, and I'm NOT sure exactly which slot the guys have so I'll be there from start to whenever they're done. It's an editing day for me, I'm more clear headed than I was yesterday after my writing session. Tongue

Morning. I've been in for a bit but have been busy catching up.

Last night was a blast! I saw a lot of local talent at the gig last night and most of all, really enjoyed watching my brothers perform at the end of the evening!

I did get two videos from the night, the first one is about 8 mins long and the second is over 40 mins. I am able to upload the shorter video but with the amount of MB I'd burn uploading it here (it's almost 2 GB in size on the lowest quality for my camera! *BLINK!*) I'm not going to be putting up the second one for now. Maybe if I can get somewhere that allows unlimited MB with a computer that will actually work with the camera or external drive......

Anyway, it was awesome and if Hubby's schedule allows, I'll be going again when WGD performs there the next time, which will hopefully be October 5th.

It's also NOT very hard to tell I wore two inch spike heeled boots last night. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO paying up for it today! *SIGH* Oh well. Next time I'm wearing SNEAKERS or low heeled shoes of some sort! Owies.

I'm here for the daytime but may be quiet... Our sci-fi channel has a Doctor Who marathon on, starting at 11 my time, and they're showing all episodes from Nine and up! DAVID TENNANT AS TEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOT! Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley Son and I will be watching them, minus the ones with the weeping angels in them of course... Tongue

I washed about a pint of sweat off of me (my shirt and bra were literally soaking wet) and after a heavy infusion of tea, I begin to feel human. Now, I'll see how far along dinner is with getting done.
