I know it! I did find a few games on here though, and some look good. One IS good, I played it in Mesmo Games on FB and beat it.... LOL

Well, this one game is taking forever to install... *SIGH* I still have to set up Son's side of the computer so the little monkey can NOT get into the backworkings of this computer... He screwed up a LOT of stuff on the other one, no way in HECK is he going to be able to do a darn thing like that on this one!!!!

Working on dinner. Skywise lost 5 pounds between his weigh in this morning and a weight check a few minutes ago. He sweated it off. I have a feeling that he doesn't have any excess sodium in his body right now....

The aspirin isn't helping much so I'm heading out. I "should" be back by late tomorrow afternoon, barring tie-ups on I-65 out of Louisville.

Here and getting Opera set up. Firefox went crazy in Windows 8, just like it did in Vista on the old computer.

I still don't remember all of my stupid bookmarks from Vista... Or sites for that matter. It's going to take me a VERY long time to remember everything and get things recovered. Thank the stars I remember most of them so far.................

I'm still trying to wake up... Hubby will be taking the car for repairs this afternoon so I'll probably sneak offline to work on things while he's gone and try to get more added to Book 2. I'm not sure how much I'll be around over the next couple of weeks, it all depends on how many MB I burn. I used a LOT yesterday, getting updates and whatnot, so I'm kinda trying to conserve things for now until I get my monthly refill in 2 weeks.

Well, the pop-ups have stopped popping up and we didn't get wet. Oh well, tomorrow is another day.

We went to Louisville today intending to go the Science Museum there. We get there and it was closed for staff training! Fortunately, the Frazier Museum of Arms and Armor is on the same block and the Louisville Slugger Museum is right across the street from both. So we backtracked to the Frazier and I'm really glad we did! We found a guy on the third floor with a selection of mail, helmets and a "live" hand and a half sword! Skywise and I TOTALLY geeked out and we kept him from being bored for probably over half an hour. (And I got to hold the sword -- I think he was a bit nervous until he realized that I DID know how to do it safely, even if it was a bit too heavy for me.) About an hour later, he and an assistant put on a demo called "Arming the Knight." The guy has a complete set of custom made armor and he suited up in it and explained everything while doing so. Needless to say, we had a blast!

Coming home, we encountered a downpour that would have qualified as a "whiteout" if it had been snow. I couldn't see the sides of the road or the front of the car. The only way we could see the semi in front of us was because he had his flashers going. Skywise drove while I alternated having "words" with the Storm Gods and asking Hermes to please keep everyone safely on the road and heading in the right directions! Traffic slowed down to 30 to 40 miles per hour, if that until we'd driven out of the storm. It was still going on when we got home -- I checked the radar -- and they have "Area Flood Warnings" down there now which I don't doubt!
