	Afternoon. Busy morning. I had the email fixed last night before Skywise got home. Still don't know what caused the problem but I think it has something to do with Safari. If it happens again, I'll access the email through Earthlink and fix it that way. As it is, I'm gonna clean that thing out daily!

	Skywise is on the way home. He told me that some of his coworkers are already freaking out about the storm predicted for the weekend. I told him that the weather dudes and dudettes are saying it's too soon to know who is gonna get what. Right now, we're on the border between snow and "wintery mix". His reaction is about the same as mine. Anyway, I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Morning. Back from town. The "panic buying" has started ahead of the next snowstorm. Fortunately, we didn't have much to buy, just odds and ends of this and that. Spirit decided that we needed a better snow shovel -- I agreed -- and she paid for it so the family's "Snow Removal Technician" has a new tool to break in. I mentioned to Skywise a couple of days ago that we're going to need a snowblower in a couple of years and I bet that Spirit will love that! Now to get caught up.....

	Two knives showed up in today's mail so my collection of Cutco knives is complete although Skywise thinks I should get a second paring knife as my current one has been in use constantly since we married. He's become quite enthusiastic about filling out our kitchen equipment. I guess he figures that if we must cook -- and we do -- we should have a complete set of quality tools. I still have some utensil purchases in the pipeline and a delivery is possible tomorrow.

	Still screwed up. sigh I wonder if it will "self correct" like it did when it scattered a part of my signature all over. Time will tell. Anyway, the "explosion" on my fb newsfeed over the Ghostbusters III announcement is dying down -- at least until new information comes out. They've about beaten the "why didn't they use the Ecto-1 instead of the Ecto-1A in the teaser trailer" topic to death. Hopefully it's ghost will pass over and not continue to haunt fb! With only unconfirmed rumors about casting and none about the story, the haters don't have much to work with so I don't expect to hear much from them for a while. However once some new casting is announced and/or some idea of the plot comes out, the nitpicking will start. Hopefully, Sony will be able to keep the sexist feeding frenzy to a minimum! Skywise hasn't called but I'm going to head out. My eyes, not to mention my brain, are tired. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. We were able to do our Thursday produce run this morning. It was raining but above freezing so.. sloppy but not especially dangerous to drive in. My black baby Niffler arrived from England today. Love the little guy and he's settled in with my gray baby and the adult. The carrier also delivered another bread cookbook and a Cutco soup ladle so I can say I hit the jackpot today.

	Afternoon. Sanctuary still messed up. Skywise is heading for work. He should be able to get home okay but I'm nervous about tomorrow. They're saying we're going to have "wintery mix". I HATE "wintery mix". It's gonna be a long 48 hours until the storm passes and we start freezing our butts on Sunday.

	Still waiting on the storm. The models predicting the "wintery mix" line was still shifting all over the place. The storm is still a couple of states over. It's not supposed to get here until around 2 am. I'm hoping Skywise will be home before then.

	sigh Skywise hasn't called yet and the "weather" moving in from Illinois. I hope he gets off soon and home before it gets here. If only it were colder.... or warmer. I HATE ice! 	Afternoon. So far, so good. We got our stuff done and back home during the rainy part of the program. It looks like the rain has stopped or nearly so. At least it is so light I can't see it from where I'm sitting and the temperature is still above freezing. Colder temperatures and snow are expected before dark.

	Evening. The snow has pretty much stopped at 4½ inches. And we have wind. Which means drifting. Skywise says we probably got a bit more than that but the first snow to fall hit wet ground and likely melted. The county plow went by a few minutes ago so if we can get down the driveway we should be able to get out of here tomorrow.

	I'm exhausted. The wind really jacked up my anxiety level today and getting prone and thinking about Book 4 didn't help. There's more turmoil about GB 2020 on my newfeed and I'm so damn tired of fussing. (Leslie Jones/Patty Tolan shot off her mouth today, giving the manbabies ammo for more attacks and open warfare has broken out again.) So I'm going to get a candy bar or three, maybe four and head for bed. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. The wind has died down somewhat. It's colder than Hell. And since the cloud cover isn't all that thick, it's brighter than the inside of a light bulb out there and, curtains notwithstanding, in here as well. The "Ghostbusters War" continues and I am SO over it all. Still want to see the movie though...

	Evening. Went out to view the eclipse at various times. Hot cocoa notwithstanding, my face still feels a little cool/numb but I think my nose is thawing. It was 1 degree F. when I went out. I'm gonna need more face protection if we keep having cold spells like this.

	Afternoon. We slept in this morning -- too cold to do much else -- and went into town for a late lunch. We had to take the car because a tire on the van was low. I've been catching up on the web and losing my sweet disposition with some people who have once again jumped to conclusions without waiting for the facts to come out. Their self-righteous indignation makes me sick and I've about reached my limit......

	Morning. I am one massive ache. We had to take the car into town yesterday -- one of the tires on the van was low -- which meant that I had to walk up our snowy driveway and down the road to the Old House driveway where Skywise parks the car. Difficult given my mobility issues but doable. I'm about a third of the way to the car when a trash truck comes around the corner at speed, heading right for me. I got out of the way. Fast. And apparently strained/wrenched every muscle in my torso, arms and legs. Then I plowed through the snow to the car. By bedtime I hurt so much I couldn't sleep. I took a painkiller at 2 am and managed to get a little sleep. I'd have gotten more if SunLord hadn't decided to keep pestering me. He wanted me to pet him and stuck me with his claws if I didn't. So I'm tired and in pain. NOT gonna get a lot done today.....

	Skywise has called. He's on his way home and is grumpy. It's raining. A cold rain but its a "not freezing" rain and it is turning the snow into slop. Wintery slop. The only thing he hates more than wintery slop is freezing rain. Anyway, he's on his way and I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	Afternoon. And the next day, it rained. The snow is almost completely gone. It's 50 degrees and it's been raining all day. The creeks are up, not quite flood stage yet but close and the temperature is supposed to start dropping later. The "unpredictable" winter weather that was predicted for this year continues.

	Temperature is still dropping. It's down to about 35 degrees. I hope the rain moves out before it hits 32 degrees. Ice ain't nice. Unless it is in a glass!
