	Working on dinner. I started it a bit later since I expect Skywise to be running late. His guesstimate of tonight's mail volume was in the millions of pieces so even going in later than usual, he couldn't even guess at when he would be home....

	Afternoon. He got home at 4:30 am last night so we are running later than usual. Don't know when he'll be home tonight. sigh And people wonder why we don't enjoy Christmas. We will do our "enjoying" once he walks in the door on Christmas Eve and spend the week until New Year's Day winding down/recovering.

	Afternoon. Our only bathtub is out of service and we're going to have to cut a hole in Spirit's bedroom wall in order to fix it. At least that's what Skywise is saying at the moment. He's in the basement chuckling at the moment so maybe cutting holes in walls won't be necessary.

	Skywise got in at 5:15 am this morning. He left for work about 40 minutes ago. I don't know how he does it. I'm going to crash for a bit so I can get through the rest of the day.

	I got up about an hour ago. I took some painkiller before I laid down and can actually walk reasonably well. Skywise thinks he knows what's wrong with the bathroom plumbing and naturally, getting to the problem (cutting through walls) will be more difficult than fixing the problem. He has said that if we had enough money, he'd tear this place down, including the foundation and start over. "I" say if we had that much money, we'd forget this house and use the money to upgrade/remodel/expand the Old House -- which we wish we'd done in the first place -- and have a house that was big enough instead of two that are too small.....

	Just found out via my Facebook newsfeed that SCIFiber should be hooking up houses in this area next month! Soon, VERY SOON we will be able to tell our current Internet Service Provider to take their satellite and shove it where the sun don't shine!

	Skywise called a couple of hours ago. He's gonna be really late again. sigh This is his 41st "Christmas Rush" and he says it is the worst one ever. Which considering some years, that's saying a lot! Only 11 more days to go. I hope we can get to the "finish line" without losing our minds!

	I'll be the first to admit. When the Post Office screws up, they don't mess around. A package containing some of Spirit's Christmas presents was in town on Wednesday. It "should" have been delivered that day. Instead, it was sent BACK to where it came from -- Independence, Kentucky. After sitting in Independence for over 24 hours, it is now in Cincinnati, OH. I am hoping that SOMEONE WILL PUT IT ON A TRUCK TO INDIANAPOLIS so that it could possibly get here in time for Christmas. Like I said, when the PO screws up, they don't mess around.

	Really tired of "facebook conflict". If it weren't for the fact that I find out interesting/important things -- like when SCIFiber is going to start connecting homes and keeping up with specialized topics of interest -- I'd leave. Maybe I should just visit the pages of the groups I belong to and avoid everything else.....

	Spirit's missing package arrived today. The contents are wrapped and ready to be tagged. I have a number of packages that need tags but I know who they belong to. I'll probably get to that tomorrow.
