	Afternoon. Made biscuits this morning. Some of the damned things weren't done in the middle. Cold today. Legs still hurt. Another day of staying off my feet so I can do what I HAVE TO do.

	Afternoon. We have freezing rain. The trees are getting a nice coating on them and some limbs are starting to sag a bit. A branch I can't usually see from where I'm sitting is now visible. We didn't go anywhere this morning so we slept in and my leg seems a little better for it. Hopefully, it will be more improved by tomorrow. Post #44,100

	I think that the Amazon delivery driver is stuck. He/she has been "7 stops away" for the last half hour in a wooded residential area. And we have ice. One driver got hung up in our driveway a week or so ago and conditions were a lot better then than they are now.

	Interesting day so far. Weeks ago, Amazon lost the ClosetMaid pantry closet I ordered. In due course, they asked me if I wanted a refund or a replacement. Since I needed the darn thing, I told them to replace it and in a reasonable amount of time -- about a week ago -- it arrived. TODAY, the "missing" one was delivered. So now I have to make room downstairs for a second closet. That will take thought and considerable moving things around!

	Skywise says he feels better but he's sleeping a lot. This infection is taking a lot out of him probably because he's been exhausted for months now. As far as I'm concerned, he can sleep all he wants for as long as he wants. He will have to wake up long enough to eat and take the antibiotic but other than that... sleepy time!

	Skywise just told me that the swelling is going down which means everything is working. The painkiller is starting to wear off but he'll be able to take more with dinner -- which will be ready in about 20 minutes. We normally wouldn't eat this late when he's home but he wanted a good gap between his first (afternoon) dose of antibiotic and the bedtime dose so..... after midnight it is. Post #44,111

	Afternoon. Skywise is at work. Yet another access to 37 (Ennis Road) has been closed so he had to take a detour. Tomorrow, we'll probably be trying a new route, bypassing 37 altogether. If it works, we'll be using it from now on.

	Just did some measuring downstairs. There's room for the "extra" pantry closet near the first one and I've figured out what to do with the storage boxes that are in that space -- build a partition with them. I've also figured out what to do with the single door cabinet I had to get. NOT gonna start work today -- leg still hurts but not as much thanks to painkillers -- but I know what to do so I can quit obsessing about it. I now have all the storage I'm likely to need for that section of the basement, especially since I can put in extra shelves if I need them. It's slow going thanks to my knees but the space IS shaping up.

	Skywise is on his way to work. I have a couple of laptops to show him when he gets home. He's more knowledgeable about our computer set up than I am so he will know if either of these laptops will work with what we have.

	I've managed to avoid taking painkillers today. My legs still hurt but not so much that I'm unable to walk. I've been careful and stayed off my feet as much as possible today. I'm hoping that tomorrow will see further improvement 'cause I really need to get to work downstairs -- boxes to move and pantry closets to assemble and put in place. And it will take multiple days to do it.
