	Afternoon. Ordered my laptop last night... And again this morning. Ebay's software was giving me attitude last night. Then the bank that issues the credit card I used started screaming about the transaction so I had to soothe it's frazzled nerves. (Guess I'm not supposed to make major purchases at 3 in the morning.) So..... this morning I got an email for eBay telling me that I had "left something in my cart." D'uh! I went through the whole thing again and the order went through. Barring any more aggravation, I should have my new laptop sometime next week. And it's RED, which pleases me. I will now get caught up while planning what programs to put on my new electronic toy.

	sigh I was doing pretty well in the pain department this morning UNTIL I slipped on the ice at the bottom of the front steps. I didn't fall but I did wrench just about everything. Now my knees and right shoulder (I was holding the handrail when I slipped which is why I didn't fall) ache. I HAVE STUFF TO DO, DAMNIT!! I was hoping a little rest would help but it hasn't so.. painkillers. I simply canNOT spend another day doing little to nothing.

	Took painkiller about 45 minutes ago. Planning the case and sleeve to protect my laptop when I'm not using it. Fabric and swivel hooks ordered. Deciding what programs I want on the laptop and what will need to be copied from the desktop to the laptop. Post # 44,123

	Still waiting for Amazon to deliver. Their tracking feature cut out about 45 minutes ago so I have NO idea where the driver is.

	Waited the whole damned day for that Amazon delivery. NOW they say it will be tomorrow or Monday. THE TRUCK WAS TWO DAMNED MILES AWAY -- IF THAT!! Not happy AT ALL.

	Afternoon. Everything that was due to be delivered today has been delivered. It will not be necessary to verbally throat-punch anyone. It looks like the predicted bad weather will stay north of Indianapolis and miss us entirely. We "might" get some rain -- not freezing -- but nothing else. This is good. Our "turn" will come soon enough. We just don't know "when".

	Just downloaded the Operations Manual for my laptop. The one I'm getting has a newer operating system than what it came with but this manual will work for what I want.

	The instructions for this pattern for a laptop sleeve and case are counter-intuitive -- says the person who has been sewing for nearly 60 years. sigh I guess I'll have to use the pattern pieces, ignore the instructions and figure it out on my own.

	It rained for a while. Now it looks like we "might" get more snow. It's 34 here at the house so it could be a real mess. I'm glad Skywise didn't work today. I'd be worried sick if he was driving in this. I'm hoping the vendor ships my laptop soon. I want to get to know it! Right now, I've waited long enough to check my glucose so I'm going to head out. 	Afternoon. It is now 35 degrees and raining. The snow is melting but not gone. We have some fog. Things are a sloppy mess. As we were leaving for lunch, we discovered that the mailbox had been knocked off the post. Fortunately, Skywise designed it so it comes off easily so neither the box or the post was damaged. Now to find out what fresh outrage Biden is attempting to inflict on the American People......

	Afternoon. Back from town. Right leg didn't want to support my weight which made walking "interesting" not to mention painful. It's some better now. Skywise's infection has improved but not enough. He has a stronger prescription to take for the next ten days. I'm hoping that will do it.

	Afternoon. We're back from town. Ate at Wendy's. Their dining room is open. Bright and sunny today. Needed to wear my "wrap around" sunglasses over my prescription sunglasses. Sun on the snow cover is painful, at least for me. Now to see how messed up the world is today.
