	Afternoon. WP has been earning her catfood. We found a small dead mouse in our bedroom this morning and just now, we found a large dead mouse in our room that she'd killed while we were gone. Now she's prowling through the house, looking for more prey. She's on a roll.....

	Skywise is on his way. A friend that's he's worked with for 30 years died suddenly today. He'd said goodbye to her last night and said "see you tomorrow" and today she was gone. He's getting extra hugs when he gets home. Everyone sleep well, be safe and stay calm.

	The rain we're supposed to get tomorrow isn't approaching very fast. If it moves that slowly once it gets here, we're going to get drenched. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, considered how little rain we've gotten the last few months.

	Afternoon. Just got home to find a large piece of tree down in the "turn-around" part of the driveway. It's a good thing that nothing was parked there or it would have been smashed. It's windy and will continue to be so for the rest of the day.

	I have several pieces of Lodge cast iron cookware. Some I inherited from my Mom and some I've bought with at least one more major piece to get. (The 5 inch deep Dutch Oven) I want to learn how to cook over an open fire, preferably without setting the neighborhood -- or myself -- on fire. Before I can do that, I need a place to have an open fire. That means some sort of firepit. I have the winter to plan it and save the money for it. If everything works out, building will commence in the spring.

	sigh Once again, I neglected to check in this morning. Bad me. Once we got back from town, I got busy with some planning work which turned out to be more complicated than I first thought. Skywise has a doctor's appointment in the morning and he has the week off so we can do a little something for my birthday so I'll have to stick a post it note on my forehead so I'll remember to get in here! Dinner is over and we're going to make an early night of it since that appointment tomorrow is early so I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well, be safe and stay calm.

	I've been editing the aforementioned additions to my cookbook. I haven't gotten to the "recipe" section yet. Right now, I'm working on the "care and feeding" of cast iron cookware. I inherited some skillets from Mom and I've been purchasing other pieces with the intention of learning to cook over an open fire. I think that it would be a useful skill to learn and we'll be building a fire-pit next year. After all, I'll need a safe place to build a fire! I've been following the election results while working on this word document all night and I'm cross-eyed as well as brain fried so I'm heading out. Everyone sleep well, be safe and STAY CALM, no matter what the morning brings.
