She is the jewel
Pure and ripe for stares
It makes me happy
And I am at home
Looking inside
Knowing this perfection
I have seen it many times before
A old friend one might say
But it is much more

I wish to be like her
So intense yet light
Shimmering, mesmerizing
Only I would know
But still it is hard to attain
I try daily
Yet I am still me
Boring and the same
