	By the time Penth walked out of the bank with the signed and sealed paperwork in her bag she had heard from the real estate agent. Shortly thereafter, she was in the agent's office signing more papers and handing over yet another hefty check. Once the agent had confirmed that the check was good, Penth took custody of still more paperwork. Then it was off to the Recorder's office. Once the official work there was done and the properties were legally hers and PD's, she headed back to the NightClub. She would take a lunch meeting with the architect and they would make arrangements for him to visit the property with Penth. She called the interior designer as her driver took her back to the NightClub and gave her a heads up about the new project. Penth arrived at the Club before her lunch appointment and took a few minutes to get herself collected, collapsing elegantly into her chair at her favorite table.

	When the architect arrived, Penth was surprised to see him carrying a large roll of blueprints. He informed her that her new property was something of a local landmark and that he had obtained blueprints of the house and the stables as well as the original landscape plans. Penth immediately ordered that their lunch be served in one of the meeting rooms that had a table large enough to spread out the blueprints. They unrolled the plans on the table and around bites of an excellent lunch, went over the plans. Penth immediately noticed that the house that PD had described was considerably smaller than the one shown in the plans. Missing was an entire wing with bedroom suites on the upper floor and a den/library/study on the lower floor plus a small but quite adequate ballroom that opened out onto the lawn with a view of the stables and the pasture around them.

	Feeling PD's eager agreement, Penth tells the architect that they definitely want to rebuild the missing wing and authorizes him to get construction estimates/bids on the job. Then they go over the stables and discuss what needs to be done there. Neither the architect nor Penth have more appointments that day and after a quick call to the interior designer who is also free for the afternoon, they agree to met at the property for a thorough inspection and preliminary planning.

	Trailing behind the architect and the interior designer, Penth mindlinks to PD. *How is the horse hunting going? I'm out at the manor house now. There are some furnishings left that the designer says are worth restoring so we won't be starting completely from scratch.*

	Good. I may have a tiny problem. The interior designer has a slightly crazed look and I'm afraid that the prospect of decorating what is going to amount to a small mansion is making her drool. I really don't think we need a chandelier made of Waterford crystal!

	That is my thought. The only thing I'm inclined to go whole hog on is the ballroom floor. It should be a proper dance floor. We're going to need staff but some of our Club employees have family members who might like jobs out here. Especially the ones with children. This is a great place for kids.

	*I will steer the interior designer away from the stables then! The woman is seriously getting the bit in her teeth.* A few minutes pause.. There! I"ve got her away from the stables and back on the subject of the ballroom. We might want to think about hosting events or somesuch since we don't normally entertain.*

	That sounds like fun. We're going to have this place so we might as well enjoy it. Hmmm, the architect wants to bring in a specialist to do the grounds. Says they are beyond him. I think a nice romantic garden right off the ballroom would be nice. I'm not likely to get any use out of it but someone might! giggle

	if you insiiiiiiist she says as she goes flying off the back end of one of her possible mounts somehow, i don't think well be having that one she comments, getting up and brushing the dust off her trousers, and goes to fetch the horse back
