	Almost finished with the first pass through this section. I had forgotten how many cute Marines and Firemen Bladey liked having around. Since there aren't any U.S. Marines in the Castle reality and no firemen -- as such -- there either, some serious rewriting is in order. I think I'll bring in the first batch of Castle knights and guardsmen somewhere in the first 500 posts since we get invaded around post #950 or thereabouts.... Good thing that spaghetti is on tonight's menu. I'm going to be putting in a long day.

	Well, I've gotten through the first 499 posts. Since there are only three sections left to do, I decided to work them up all at once. I started with the first section [Post 1 through 499]. I'll get it in shape then go onto the next one [500 to 999] and then the last one. Then I'll post them all. Probably NOT all on the same day!

	Yawn! Morning all! I'm up but I'm still half asleep. I need tea to get my brain connected. Then it will be back into the Castle posts. Edited 'cause I should know better than to try and post when my brain isn't hooked up yet! LOL

	Higher cognitive functions are beginning to come online. I'm taking care of some odds and ends, including some research, while that is happening. I should be able to start working on the Castle soon. I hate it when it is so hard to wake up....

	The research as gone well. I now have the reference sources I need to intelligently design the small towns and farming villages that will be springing up around the Castle. I won't need much detail now but the ability to be both detailed and accurate could prove useful down the road.

	In order to minimize loss of sanity, I'm having to make a copy of the Castle post section I'm working on so I easily see what I want to keep and therefore know *where* to put the new stuff... This section is so NOT gonna be 499 posts long when I'm done.....

	I've further trimmed a 47 page word doc down to 26 pages. Now, I can read it without scrolling down forever and can start adding things back. I know what needs to go in this section so that helps. I've kept a copy of the 47 pager, just in case! Gonna take a tiny break to get a snack and maybe wash a glass or twelve....

	I'm trying not to fret. I just hope FR gets here soon and lets us know they are okay. I'm working on the Castle reposts and dinner at the same time. The section I'm working on will make up about one chapter, most likely, maybe one and a half and there is so little left of it I'm at a bit of a loss. I need to spread things out over the 1,298 posts that are left. I'm going to be ditching a lot of post numbers. This writing "piecemeal" is getting on my nerves.... Among other things getting on my mind.

	We're back and loaded down with enough catfood to keep the furkids happy for quite a while. Moonie is currently hauling it to the basement and putting it away. Everything is pretty much right with the world.

	It's raining. Again. sigh Oh well, better now than Sunday. Skywise is working tomorrow and Monday but he has Sunday off. This is a good thing. Last year, he was working on Race Day and I did all the taping [audio and video] by myself. The rain delay made the radio broadcast [which we audio tape] run real late but the tape delayed television broadcast started on time. Consequently, they overlapped and thanks to some television reception problems things were VERY hectic for a about 20 or so minutes until I had everything squared away! I'm expecting next year to be challenging because he's already decided to get a DVD recorder (with memory so we can edit the commercials) for next year's race. Last year for video tape and new tech for me to master in case I pull a solo again!

	The rain has stopped and things are drying out. I went up to the Guest House to get the chicken for dinner and nearly floated away. All the locust trees are in bloom and the scent is everywhere and it is heavenly. Hmmm....... The writing is going well. I don't know how long it will take me to finish these last posts but it won't be too much longer.

	Figuring out what the keeper of the Castle Pub looks like has me stuck, aside from the fact he is human, about 6 feet tall and "sturdy." I need a few more particulars, at least for myself. So, I'm gonna hit the kitchen and get dinner going. When asked this morning what she wanted for dinner tonight, Spirit firmly replied "Chicken!" So oven-fry and mashed potatoes it is! The girls have opted to forgo veggies tonight but that's okay. There will be other nights when I'm not slaving over a hot word doc.

	Omm: Knights, as in how to introduce them into the story and how many should be in the first group. Also on my mind is tomorrow's audio taping. Skywise is going to be mowing our hayfield of a yard -- it is already going to seed in some spots! -- so I'll be doing the taping chores. I don't know what I'll be fixing for dinner tomorrow or if we'll end up getting a bucket of KFC to go with my homemade sides. I'll likely have a legal pad handy to jot down any ideas or whole scenes that come into my head while I'm taping. I don't know how much I'll be able to be online tomorrow but at least I will be able to write!!!

	I've been back for a while, trying to go easy on my eyes. They are still wanting to burn but I want to keep on working since a largish chuck of my afternoon tomorrow is going to be spent taping the race. Omm: my new earrings tickle. I made them this afternoon. I'll post a pic when I can get a good one. I've found it a bit tricky to photograph my own ear....

	Tomorrow looks good, weatherwise, for the race. Warmer than it has been but clear. Monday night, however, isn't looking good. That storm system that's been causing all those tornadoes to the west is expected to arrive on Monday with the main part of it coming in Monday night. [Yes, I'm still worried about FuryRising and Family but I'm telling myself everything is okay and the DarkPrincess is keeping her to busy to check in. Hope she can post pics of the Princess in those outfits I sent soon!] Skywise works on Monday so the girls and I will be on our own. Bummer....
