	The line has finally started to move. About time too. Those poor people in LaFayette must be swimming! Trying to keep my nervousness at bay. I'm glad Skywise is home, I'd be worried sick about him otherwise. Weatherdude says it should be in the Indy Metro area in a couple of hours and since it is moving roughly west to east while sinking southeastward, it will be here at about the same time. sigh Looks like another late night. 	One of the Original Posters on the Castle insisted on infusing it with certain standard issue misinformation about certain Medieval customs. Specifically, lack of proper tableware and manners (which is easily rectified) and extremely lax personal hygiene practiced by certain Non-player characters. I've managed to justify it for one character and he'll be dumping the practice come Book 3 but for the others who are supposed to be reasonably civilized nobility, it ain't working. Which means a lot of little references to their less than pleasant aroma are going to have to be hunted up and changed. WOULD IT HAVE KILLED THESE PEOPLE TO READ THE BLASTED THREAD AND REALIZE THAT THE CASTLE WAS/IS NOT, I REPEAT NOT, SET IN A MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN FANTASY WORLD!!! THE CASTLE HAS PLUMBING -- FLUSH TOILETS EVEN! IT HAS SHOWERS, HUGE BATHTUBS AND NO SHORTAGE OF SOAP, TOWELS AND OTHER AMENITIES! �SO WHAT GIVES WITH THE STINKY ARISTOCRATS????? snark! Thank you for your indulgence. I feel much better now. If I can, I'm going to write a journey post about what I've read, ascension-wise, over the last couple of days. I'm starting to hear a little thunder. Later. �

	Been busy, dinner's done, still need to organize my beltbag and backpack for tomorrow. Reading about 2012 on some other sites and making a comment or two on the subject. Thinking about what I've read over the last few days. I think I'm going to have to write about it, if only to get my thoughts organized, probably a Journey post that will be on my blog too. My thoughts are nibbling at me like hungry little fish with increasing insistence that I express them. I'm half of a mind to stick a notebook in my backpack so I can make notes in the stands tomorrow. Skywise and the girls usually go prowling around Gasoline Alley and the pits while I stay in the stands, guard our stuff and watch the cars whiz by. I should be prepared if inspiration strikes. The fact that one writer insists that something "big" is coming up fast -- as in next month! -- has me a bit on edge, the "something is gonna happen but I don't know what!" kinda feeling. I think I'm gonna need to step up the meditation. Think I'll go throw some stuff in my backpack. I'll be back later.

	We're back! We hung out for a while, watched some qualifying and some practice and generally had fun. Sunburn was avoided by all hands! YAY!!! I'm going to get caught up and maybe take a short nap. At least I'm not cooking tonight. We're having dinner out. Double YAY!!! Later.

	Morning! I woke up shivering this morning but it wasn't that cold. [We turned the furnace on before we went to bed last night.] Maybe it was something I dreamed and don't remember. We're going to take the van over for its "annual checkup" this morning, having done the car last week. The air conditioner needs to be looked at along with a few other little things that require a full auto shop set up to get at. [Don't ya hate that?] And the phone company will be out tomorrow to figure out what's wrong with our landline. Looks like it is going to be a busy week. Later.

	Back from town. Skywise is taking the cats for a walk. I'm going to get myself (hopefully) organized and get to work. I have a lot I want to get done before Sunday/Race Day in the way of clearing clutter and generally getting the place in shape for summer. I probably should start with the kitchen. 	Dinner's done. Skywise is watching 24 and I'm stunned by the number of upcoming movies that involve computer generated mechanical things that want to kill us with verve and enthusiasm! Then there are the computer generated organic things that want to kill us. At least, as far as I know, Jurassic Park IV is dead....

	sigh I'm trying to write and not having much luck. I've been "off" all day although I did get my walk in and some of the chores I wanted to get done finished. There is one last thing I can try to "settle" me. I need to be ravished. Enthusiastically. So I think I'll head out and make an indecent suggestion to Skywise. It "that" doesn't settle me, nothing will! If nothing else, I should sleep well. Everyone sleep well and be safe.

	The phone guy is here. He's found the problem and it's their responsibility so he's fixing it now. We should have a clearer phone connection and maybe better download speed on the phoneline after this. The repair he's doing is sort of an equipment upgrade. The Prince of Midnight got out when Skywise went out to meet the phone guy and he headed straight for the catnip bed. He bellyflopped into it and started eating it.... He's such a little niphead! And why do credit card companies INSIST on sending us "checks" every single month! I'm going to wear out the shredder at this rate! As soon as the guy's done working on the phone, we're going into town. Need to hit the bank, get more kitten chow and find out if the hardware store has catnip plants! I'm going to have to replant the entire bed and if I want any of the plants to survive, it's gonna have to be a BIG bed. If they don't, we'll have to get them at Pets Mart which is a lot more expensive. Almost time to go. Catch ya later.

	We're back. The catnip is planted. The boycats keep escaping and heading for the catnip bed where they proceed to have a ball. Moonie, who helped plant it [five pots worth] is having a meltdown. The boys could care less...... sigh

	Still slogging along on Chapter 10 while thinking about that journey post I've got to write. My thoughts about that are still swirling around like a blender set on *frappe* and I need to make some sense of them. Still feeling good though and on the whole more optimistic than I've been in a long time. Things are going to work out like they're supposed to, "detours" notwithstanding! No amount of screaming, yelling, 'insisting' or 'naysaying' from the peanut gallery will change that. [sarcasm] Sorry to burst your bubble, guys. [/sarcasm] Ah. Enough of this. I'm gonna get a bit more writing done before bed.

	Afternoon! We've been on the run today and got in a little bit ago. Skywise stopped at two different comics shops so I could get my "Red Sonja" fix. I did and I'm a happy little fangirl. I only need one issue to get caught up. I may see what Amazon has or just prowl Half Price Books until it turns up. I saved my brownie from Chick fil A and I'm going to make some fresh tea and enjoy it. Later.

	I had my brownie. It was worth it. Next week I'll be back on my exercise routine like the (very) "good" girl that I am so a tiny indulgence is allowed. Skywise has to work on Saturday and Monday so I may get back to my non-vacation routine on Saturday instead of waiting until Monday. I checked Amazon. They have the issue of Red Sonja that I want but at an unacceptable markup ($2.01 over cover price) so I'm going to be waiting and prowling Half Price Books for it. In light of my studies, I need to add some affirmations to my list. I'll work on them while dinner is cooking. �If things are suitably quiet in the morning, I'll get them on tape and start hitting them hard during tomorrow afternoon's walk. �Some things need a solid kick in the pants to get them moving and I'm ready, finally, to deliver it. � This isn't getting anything like dinner or affirmations started so I'm going to head for the kitchen. 	Dinner's over but the affirmations aren't written yet. I've got the wording settled but it isn't written down. I got a longish email from Nike just before dinner and it called for a longish one in return and that is what I did instead of writing affirmations! I will now take pen in hand and get writing!
