	Okay. The turkey bucket is filled and in the Guest House refrigerator. Yeah. I wanted to get that done over the weekend but the turkey wasn't cooperating with the whole "get the gravy packet out" thing and I didn't want to force it. It'll thaw the rest of the way in the brine and all will be delicious come Turkey Day. Ick. My hands still smell like raw turkey! Guess I'll scrub them down with dishwashing liquid!

	I wrote for a while and then laid down again. The War Queen was being insistent and since she spent most of the morning under the floor hiding from the strange human in the house (the furnace man) I figured she needed a little cuddling. Now I'm up again and back to writing. Book 3, Chapter 1 is almost finished....

	Observation: One is under no moral obligation to keep someone from doing or being criminally stupid. Especially if said person has already decided that they are going to do what they're going to do regardless of what anyone says and MOST especially if that someone is someone you barely know. In that instance, one should simply stand aside and let the idiot learn the hard way. While is it admirable to heroically refrain from saying "I told you so" when the StupidOne goes "splat" it is in no way required. Yes, I've been abroad on the internet again tonight. The lack of intelligence, common sense and knowing when to stop arguing with "the Stupid" out there is most disheartening.... Some people will NOT listen and WILL do precisely what they please regardless. It is a waste of time, energy and breath to try to convince them otherwise. I say save those precious personal resources and let the idiots learn the hard way. Lavish the time, energy and breath on those who can and will appreciate your efforts!

	Ran around like crazy people this morning but everything that HAD to be done this morning was. The rest can wait until tomorrow when we'll have more time due to Skywise having the super late shift which will now be even later since they've moved his report in time back 30 minutes. Just ordered a book in the "Missing Manual" series. Book 3 is the last one I'll be writing using AppleWorks which has been replaced with Pages. So I ordered the "MM" for IWorks so I can have something to refer to while I'm learning the new program. Skywise has been using it but he isn't usually around when I'm writing so I need a book! The neat thing with Pages (IMHO) is that you can easily add photos and other illustrations to your word document. That will make doing the supplements that go with the Books much easier. I'm also going to convert the electronic copy of my BOS to Pages and I don't wanna mess that up! Right now... fresh tea, maybe a little cinnamon snack cake (loving cinnamon!) and Chapter 2. I don't know if I want to tackle the HUGE fight scene that starts the the chapter off or not. May do some "clean up" work first. Later.

	Need a name for a relatively minor but nonetheless PITA character in Book 3. Something that gives the reader an instant "handle" on the character. This will require some thought and since my eyes are hurting from staring at the computer, I'm gonna take a bit of break. Later.

	Still don't have the name so I've moved on to another section of Chapter 2. Someone decided to mess with Our Hero's head. Very naughty. Our Heroine is gonna have to DO something about that. Something drastic. Maybe more drastic than what happened originally since I don't have to worry about anyone's tender sensibilities.... Oh yeah......

	Workout is done. Feeling it a bit more than usual. I increased the weight for some of the exercises as they were beginning to get easy. "Easy" doesn't get results, or at least, not speedy ones which I'd like to see! You have to tax the muscle a bit or you're wasting your time. Anyway, gonna start dinner in a little. I'm hungry and since Skywise's super late shift got changed to an early shift at the last minute, he'll be home at midnight instead of 3:30ish. I'm going to spread bloody and fiery (literary) mayhem while I wait for him. Later.

	Morning! Special day today. On this date in 1972, I was introduced to the company's new hire, a tall, lanky young man with the blackest hair and the brownest eyes I'd ever seen and he had (and still does!) eye lashes to die for. It was Skywise and I had just turned 20 years old. I was seeing someone else but I still accepted Skywise's invitation to lunch a couple of days later. The other guy didn't last long after that (he was a pig anyway!) and by April, I knew I was in love. Still am. Happy Anniversary, beloved.

	I've pretty much finished up with the flying glass and burning oil which provides a logical explanation for why two serious "pains in the butt" are "off stage" and NOT causing trouble during Book 3. �Since Book 3 sees Our Hero and his chosen Lady getting handfasted and "being naughty" every chance they got beforehand, it doesn't make sense for these two characters not to be around causing trouble but now it does so I iz happy writerperson. Now I have to work on setting up the whole new subplot I have to write 'cause I had to scrap the old one. Much thinking in my immediate future.
