	The plant is described. I don't have a formal name for it yet, let alone any "folk names" but I know what it looks like -- a honeysuckle bush with the thorns and flowers of a multi floral rose -- and what it does and how it does it. A good afternoon's work since the plant and it's properties are central to one of Book 3's plots. I am now going to go rest my eyes, contemplate a few "non-book" things, probably write in my journal and then do something useful of a "housewifey" nature. Later.

	Dinner is on, should be eating in about half an hour. Did a bit more work on the above mentioned plant. The description needed a bit more detail and while I was being a kitty bed for the War Queen, I puzzled how what I need from the plant is produced. STILL don't have a name for it. I can't remember how I handled one particular problem at the time so I'm going to have to look it up but not right this minute. I'm gonna veg until Nike's free and dinner's ready. Later.

	Afternoon! Skywise let me sleep in since there was no place we had to go this morning and he knows I'm gonna be working my little butt off tomorrow. Of course, there will be a certain amount of "working off of the butt" today too but that's just "warm up" for the main event! Right now, need to get his food packed. Later.

	The girls and I brought the turkey and the roasting pan down from the Guest House about half an hour ago. The boycats were very interested in the bucket but figured out that they couldn't get into it to see what smelled so interesting. They've gone back to their naps and as soon as the oven is preheated, I'm going to pop the lid on the bucket and get the bird. Hopefully, I'll get the brine dumped before they decide to investigate it. I don't feel like washing brine off of a cat tonight....

	Turkey is in the oven. Note to self: Check it at 7:30 pm The brine is dumped and the bucket is sitting in the bathtub full of hot, soapy water. Chapter 2 is proceeding nicely. It's all good.

	I'm currently thinking about setting up a data base, going through every spellbook I own (I have a LOT of spellbooks, not to mention the spells included in most "training" books) and entering every spell into said data base. I'm not sure I'm masochistic enough for that particular project although having a "sortable" data base of spells would make looking for something in particular a lot easier!

	Currently thinking about how to conduct a criminal investigation in a world where magick is available to both the investigators and the criminals. 	I'm looking at the interactive weather radar on the local ABC affiliate's website. I can see both houses on it..... It is probably a good thing that Skywise and I don't have a big skylight over our bed.....

	I've been snooping around the neighborhood thanks to Google and the ABC affiliate's interactive radar. Very interesting what people have been sticking back in the woods... 	Morning! Santa Claus has just hove into view in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade! The apple pie is in the oven, it should be done in about 45 minutes. It will be followed immediately by the pumpkin pie. I will then wash dishes and make the noodles so they will have time to dry a bit before I cook them... Later.

	......the SunLord is hiding..... I was washing the dishes by hand since I can do them quicker than the dishwasher and I was putting the clean, scalded dishes in the dishwasher so it was open. I had most of the silverware in the basket along with some plates when I turn around and there is the SunLord in the dishwasher with the clean dishes.... Let me note at this point that when properly motivated, I can make the windows rattle if inside and inform the township of my displeasure if outside with my vocal power alone... I was motivated. My screech sent SunLord running for cover and my family incoming from all directions. I explained that no one was dead or likely to be, mainly because I'm excessively fond of the Golden Boy but he was, as the expression goes, in the doghouse. The dishwasher is now running and dinner will be later than planned. I've been promised that no one will complain about that.....

	We've eaten to excess. Skywise is checking out my homemade pumpkin pie. It's disappearing at speed. I must have done it right. Moonie is hitting the yams again. I may not have any of those left at this rate. Now, Skywise is getting my homemade apple pie. He "saved" his calories today. Think I'll start with pumpkin and have the apple later. 	Evening. Been recovering from yesterday's "cookathon" today. The War Queen insisted on a serious snuggle session since we didn't get one yesterday and I dosed off. I'm still yawning but I think I'll be able to stay awake until Skywise gets home. Right now, I need to get the kitchen squared away so I can make dinner tonight. What's on the menu? Pizzas! Later.

	Been thinking about how to suitably eliminate a character in order to make way for the bigger, badder Bitch-Villainess in Book 4. Not the Ultimate Villainess, of course, but she will cause considerable trouble in addition to what is essentially a world war so I'm personally of the opinion that there shouldn't be any lesser lights on the stage! 	Back from all of our running around. One of the packages I was expecting came today. It's the iWork '09 Missing Manual. I've got AppleWorks down cold but Apple has replaced it with Pages. Since Book 3 is the last one I'll be writing in AppleWorks, I need to get up to speed on Pages since bits and pieces of Book 4 are starting to wander into my brain as well as notes on the lives of Our Heroine, Our Hero and Our Heroine's Little Brother all of which I intend to make into books within the next few years. So, I'm going to be fooling with Pages in odd moments. I also found some very sparkly red trim that I'll be using for a dance outfit. I also FINALLY found some suitable red chiffon for a skirt and veil set. I didn't get it today. I've already told Skywise that we needed to come back during the week -- when there are fewer frenzied shoppers abroad! -- so I can get it while they have it 'cause the last time we were there, they didn't have it. It's bright red so it's probably "seasonal" or some such nonsense. I didn't see any green the shade I want but even if they have it now, I'm going to get the red first. Maybe they will have the green I want around St. Patrick's Day! But now, I need to make some tea and start being useful. Laundry comes to mind. Skywise mentioned something about getting low on "unmentionables....." Later.
