	Afternoon. I am entirely too hot. As in "overheated!" Mind out of the gutter! We went to Floral Gulch, had lunch, picked up some odds and ends including a new mouse for the computer and came home. I am now attempting to reach an acceptable level of "coolness." Heard about the Canadian earthquake and that the shaking was felt as far away as Milwaukee. Mother Gaea is rather cranky these days.

	Dinner's over. There is a line of storms in the northwest corner of the state but it seems to have more west to east motion than northwest to southeast motion so it's just hanging there, pounding that part of the state. I'm hoping that it will hold off getting here until Skywise gets home. I'll still HATE the storms but I'll feel a little better knowing that he's home. Two hours to go....

	Morning! Skywise got home just as I turned the comp off last night. It rained but it was gentle compared to what we've been getting. I got up about half an hour ago and it's already been a mostly good day. St. Anthony came through for me! Yay St. Anthony!!! On only fly in the day's ointment will be noted elsewhere. I should probably put on some clothes and get busy. Later.

	I'm going to be starting dinner here directly. Spirit caught a snake -- a small one fortunately! -- in the basement this afternoon. She said that the SunLord had it but how he got it into the house, I have NO idea! �The girls released the snake out into the great outdoors where it will be much happier with no big yellow/orange tomcats around! The third belly dance dvd I ordered came today. So I have the set. Only two more "specialized" ones to get and one of them hasn't been released yet so that will have to wait. I might get some other specialized dvds later on but I need to master (or nearly so) the ones I have now. Time to start the dinner...

	I'm working on our sister site at which I'm now an administrator... �I'm attempting to add smilies to the smiley list. The smilies are being singularly uncooperative... � I WILL figure it out, hopefully before I lose my mind!

	Lightdragon figured out the loading problem while I was sleeping so now I'm refreshed and loading smilies like crazy! I'll have to run a test and see if the same thing works here. If so, our list will be a bit longer! Back to work! Later!

	I've been working on the sister site. I have about half of the smilies loaded that I intend to put on. Might need to hunt up a few more though, special requests and all that. Once that's done, I'll trying my hand at banner making and getting back to Chapter 5. Maybe this break will refresh the old creative functions. Hope so anyway. I need to get back into the groove next week. Skywise will have a consistent schedule next week and that WILL help!

	Finally got in and got most of the smilies loaded at the sister-site. I'm going to need to do some smiley hunting later. Some of the links on my list were broken or incomplete and I need to find substitutes. Dinner is cooking. No food after midnight for Skywise and me --- blood being drawn tomorrow and we need to be fasting. On the upside, we'll be hitting a local restaurant for breakfast/lunch afterward. After that, I don't know if we have any plans. It looks like it's gonna be hotter than hell so staying close to home might be the plan. No complains from this girl! I need to kick back and write. Or kick back and read. Whichever seems to be the best idea at the time!

	My tummy is NOT happy with me. I ate too much breakfast. [Two pieces of french toast, two scrambled eggs, two strips of bacon and two glasses of Coke. Just now I yielded to the temptation of some of last night's leftovers. The tummy is now screaming "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING??!!!" sigh Dinner is going to be VERY light and rather late. I'm not the only one who overate!

	Dinner is over and it's raining like hell. Fortunately, there isn't much lightning which is why I'm still online! Also sitting here in slack jawed amazement at the pettiness of some people. I guess being a "grown up" is a state that one does not automatically reach as one grows older. I guess it IS better to find out one is dealing with a spoiled, overgrown child sooner rather than later. It makes it much easier to cut your losses.

	Afternoon! I've been up for a while but busy! Things are settling down finally. No trees down on houses, no medtechs coming to collect samples and no vehicles needing to be taken to the auto shop! Skywise has the early shift all week so we'll have a consistent schedule this week. You have NO idea how good a thing that is! Right now I'm getting a few minor things taken care of that have to be done before he leaves. Then I'm going to get the washer going and pull up chapter 5. Time for me to get back to work...

	Well, I got more "house" type work done today than writing type work but I decided how I was going to handle something so something was accomplished on Book 3 today. I still need to work out a long section involving an Amazon cage fight. I'll probably save that for last to work on in this chapter. Gonna need to haul out the Krav Maga books for that one and that will take some study. Right now, I need to work on dinner! Later.
